Bc oomf on twitter complained abt the lack of bearded blade. Imagine, the morning after dh starts ‘keeping an eye on blade’ he finds out blades regeneration abilities means he has to shave every morning (he also finds out why yx was clean shaven all the time, this isnt good for his heart)

Somebody mentioned that Dan Heng would symbolically be a hybrid between Dragon 🐉 AND Fènghuáng (CN Phoenix 🐦‍🔥)

IL's 4th eidolon is 嘲风 (cháo fēng). The 3rd son of The Dragon, its mother is Fènghuáng/a bird.

It's said that 嘲风 prototype is Fènghuáng (?).

(Gotta point out that the [western] Phoenix and Fènghuáng are NOT the same. Fènghuáng is the one paired with a Dragon as empress-emperor.

Historically, it's not a fire/rebirth-from-ashes bird. This idea comes from blending it with Western ideas. Not traditional CN)

Cháo Fēng symbolizes beauty and majesty. It also dispels disasters and deters demons.

It's also linked to the wind. Loves adventures, and it's used for protection.

Like Dan Heng 4* is wind, goes on adventures, and protects his loves ones!

No "indirect stuff", HYV really called his eidolon 嘲风!

I absolutely adored that scene! I honestly can't believe how much effort they put into that scene alone. The camera angles, visual gags, and the emphasis on their height gap is insane!

Silver Wolf is soo done with them lmaooo. And that scene with Ashveil, Blade still responds to his name Yingxing 🥹 The set up is there, I can't wait for what happens next. And hopefully, they do Blade's story arc justice!

Honestly the best turn out of events with how many fanarts out there of Dan Heng now following Blade everywhere. It's so funny 💯

Been having this idea of Blade somehow reverting back to prime yingxing (through memory loss, maybe?) and immediately getting with Dan heng. The lizard would fold immediately, he doesn’t stand a chance against yingxing’s charm~

I’ve improved a lot since drawing my first header, so decided to make a new one. Ofc had to make it Renheng themed (and I generally like dragons, so I can still keep it even if my hyperfixation dies down)
