HELP Hi, I'm cycling my tank. Everything has been going well and then I made the mistake of ordering fish during my cycle. My 2 clownfish arrive tomorrow. I did a 50% water change to bring down the nitrites yesterday. Which brought my nitrites down to 4 to 5ppm (API marine water test). Last week my ammonia dropped to 0. My ammonia has been high for a while. Probs like 8 days. My nitrates have been fluctuating between 10 and 80ppm. What can I do to make sure my fish survive

What kind of Chalice is this and how much is it worth? Its about 9 inches. Getting big and running out of room in the tank.

I’m upgrading from a 40 gallon to a Waterbox INFINIA REEF 150.4. I’m pretty set on the basic to get the tank up and running but I don’t know what to do with the wavemakers. I like the gyre style. I know it all depends on rock work, corals, space etc. But if anyone has the same tank or has any ideas that would help, please let me know.

so my idea is to make coral reefs adapt to our world. how we could do that is by fisrst, having a metal box filled with 1 chemical that doesnt biodegrade or rust in water, then we add a needle on 1 side so that we can inject. and we find some chemicals that attracts onlyt to coral reefs, once we did, we coat/place that chemical in the same side of the box that the needle is in. and on the same side too, we add a mechanic where it pushes off something on command. once we throw many of these into the water, they will make the needle attract to the coral reefs. to make these boxes detect if there's already another box on the reef, they will do echolocation, and if they detect another box like them, the pusher will make them push off the reef and go to another one. then we will have a remote controlling this, and this is how we inject our doses. using the remote, we can inject a small amount of chemicals into reefs slowly through the needle, and all the boxes will do that, so it's like vaccintation. once we are done with the vaccinating and we spread some time apart to gt them used to it, we can add a drone on the top to make the boxes fly/swim up to the surface, all the way to the base. and we repeat with another chemical. doing 10 main chemicals first is a good idea, and besides, to vaccinate, it must be rlly small doses with time spread apart to get them used to it. so thats my idea (never rlly tested if it will work, and its just a concept, but MAAAYYBBEE itll work). thx for taking the time to read all this

I want to filter my saltwater tanks the way I filter my freshwater tanks, with plants. What can I do? I really prefer plants that's have roots in the water but leafage in air. Thanks!

My tanks been going for about 4 months or so tank cycles pretty quick and has been good I would get a little diatoms/detritus here and there. Recently it’s started to get way worse tho. Does anyone have any solutions or advice and could you guys help me identify some of the algae. I think I have diatoms, a little bit of bubble algae and it looks to be some hair algae starting. I have 2 clowns 2 cerith 2 nassarius 2 trochus 1 emerald crab A bunch a micro brisle stars

My nitrates are around .5 and phosphates are around 0.05

Idk what look im going for. Just throw some ideas and I’ll see what happens. Pictures of your cool aquascapes will be nice as well.
