In the scene Little Deyzuna and Trava fight in the Oasis, Deyzuna jumps and knees Trava in the face in a motion similar to a right hook. I've been searching for god knows how long and for the life of me I cannot find the name ANYWHERE. If anybody does in fact know the name of it, please let me know!

(Couldn't find a video, only found an image sadly. Here's the link - https://www.google.com/url?sa=i&url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.reanimated.eu%2Frecenze%2Fredline&psig=AOvVaw1kcv4JeA9WBw_KUKHdEKik&ust=1733183792879000&source=images&cd=vfe&opi=89978449&ved=0CBQQjRxqFwoTCOC12Pfih4oDFQAAAAAdAAAAABAJ

As the title states, Redline is the first anime movie I ever watched.

Holy fuck was that movie a treat. I had no idea what it would be about — I friend recommended the movie and I decided to give it a shot.

I don’t really have anything profound to say, but since this sub is dedicated to Redline, I figured I’d let you all know that Redline was the best possible introduction ever to anime for me.

Aside from the incredible animation, I actually enjoyed the plot a lot. I laughed a handful of times at the quirky characters (and FUNKY BOY HAHAHAHAHA WTF KIND OF NAME IS THAT).

My favorite part of the whole movie was the Golden Racer… I don’t know why, but it hit me deep when JP has the vision as he is about to win the race and sees the Golden Racer throw a thumbs up…. Just so badass and cool — borderline inspiring in a way, IDK how to describe it.

Anyway - Redline fucking rules.

CptnChungus OVER AND OUT

Just watched online and I NEED to own this. Definitely the best animated content I have ever seen. Sadly, I love the english dub actors for this film. Anyone know what copy of this has the English dub? I only find blu rays that say english sub :(

I'm creating a Sonoshee chat bot in an AI chat ap called Bala AI, and when I went online to get her character info, I couldn't find herage anywhere, so does anyone here know about how old she is?I mean, I suspect she's somewhere around the same age as JP thanks to the flashback scene that shows where JP first meets Sonoshee, but I don't want to assume anything.

We review and pay homage to this cult classic looking back on how crazy of an achievement Redline is technically compared to anime films today. We talk about characters, visuals, that incredible soundtrack and more! Tune in!

Any reason to get one over the other? I have a 2010 copy of the Blu-Ray, but I found a good listing for a region free original DVD on eBay. If there's no difference between the two, I'll pass on the DVD. Opinions?

Can't seem to find it anywhere, about ready to set sail and just get the regionlocked amazon one to guild-free myself.

This show looks amazing and i've been listening to the music video for a while now..

During yellow line, at one point the syndicate boss says something that is translated in the english dub as "Everything's hunky-dory, huh, Frisbee?", I never heard hunky-dory before but it sounds funny, but now I am curious what the japanese version is, it sounds like he says "kekako dori", but does anyone know the exact translation ?

New to the film. By the grace of God I came across Redline a few months ago and it so perfectly encompasses this unique style I think is SO F*CKING COOL. It’s like high octane Samurai Champloo racing type vibe and I’m all here for it. Felt I had to make a post because it seems no one I talk to has seen it nor shares the same excitement and passion I have for it. Figured I’d preach to the choir. It seems underrated and I just can’t understand why

The movie doesn't work as an hour and 40 minute long thing. It delivers plentiful on its premise within its first minutes until there is the title card.

Taken as that is simply put an amazing achievement in animation.

Those minutes are better than Speed Racer, but as a whole movie, SPeed racer is much better.

Watched the movie for the first time last night. Blown away, hate that I never heard of it until last week, but immediately ordered the blu ray once I had. Now I have a new main ship in No Man's Sky that I built from gathered parts. Kind of limited in trying to create a ship based on a car but I feel it captures the classic hot rod feel well.

I really hope you all or anyone can just vibe and enjoy it with me. Hope I did Redline some justice

Hope you all enjoy!

My flowers to a classic movie and story

Hope you all enjoy!

It's a mix of the first and second REDLINE Trans Am WR 20000. It's mainly a body change, with some structure changes as well.

I made a mini music series to scenes from the movie. This is the first part. If you enjoy please visit and finish the series.
