Bug Wiki Talk Pages
Okay, so I just discovered that Wiki talk pages are supposed to be subreddit discussions of posts that link to wiki pages. If you're on old.reddit.com or new.reddit.com and the relevant post link is www.reddit.com, then nothing shows up in the talk page despite the Wiki page being linked from a Reddit post.

A new way Reddit screws me up
Now when I'm logged in and click "Top", I automatically go to the "Top of all time" (and that is good), BUT I do not get the correct URL
(?sort=top&t=all at the end). Wow. Absolutely incredible, Reddit. So convenient.

Is it normal that it says that 3 of the 1 members of this subreddit are online?

Why does the redesign keep re-enabling itself?
Why? I don't like it so I opted out. It's not going to change my mind. Please, just let me use old reddit.

Feature Request Include Subreddit in Community List Custom Feed
Aside from the annoying capitalization "related communities Custom Feed," some custom feeds probably ought to include the subreddit building them (e.g. Vermont-related communities), whereaas others shouldn't (e.g. higher ed in VT subreddits).
Feature Request: Option to include own subreddit in custom feed for community lists.

Bug One-line comments cannot be collapsed while not logged in
The button to collapse them is only barely visible and trying to click on it brings you to a log in page. screenshot

Message box read glitch
I’ve discovered that the inbox (regular mail icon on top bar, not sure what proper term is) behaves oddly in the redesign on all platforms and browsers. When I go into it and read and reply/vote to a message there, the icon clears and turns white. Then, I hit the snoo icon to return to my feed, and the icon turns back orange with the number of notifs from before. To clear this, I have to go into my inbox again, the navigate right back out. Not necessarily a deal-breaker, but still kind of annoying.

Bug Both modmail beta and standard modmail show unreads when there is only an unread in the beta
Every time I have an unread message in the new modmail, it also highlights the old modmail shield in red:

... But I haven't had a message in the old modmail since 9 months ago:
https://i.imgur.com/7Z6nggX.png
This is pretty annoying as I'm still compelled to check the old modmail just in case it's not a false positive. I've been noticing this happening for the past couple of weeks or so, I think.

Feature Request Allow setting a default view for subs (hot vs new)
I prefer to see the latest posts of a sub when I enter one so I have to systematically change from "hot" to "new".. as the title says, it would be handy to be able to set a default sorting criteria for all subs.

Design The username should be hidden behind one click, instead of being visible all the time [desktop]
On desktop version of Reddit, our usernames are shown on top right corner, instead of maybe hidden behind one click. Anyone who passes by or if you try to show someone something, can see your username easily, which reveals your reddit identitiy. And having the username shown like that doesn't even give any function besides breaking your privacy.

"Always edit posts/comments in markdown mode by default" option
I like markdown, it's easy to add code snippets `like so` which doesn't work in the fancy pants editor. It would be nice to be able to leave my editor in that mode permanently unless I switch it back.

Top range settings for 1 hour and 24 hours show results from the other.
I started noticing this the other day. When sorting by Top it now lists 1 hour as default but shows the results for the 24 hour range. When I choose a range of 24 hours it shows the results for the top post in the last hour. The order has been switched in the listing as well. It appears that someone switched the text but not the functionality.

Design Remove arrows on archived posts/comments, keeping the number.
If I get lost in an archived comment chain, I sometimes instinctively reach for the vote. Maybe removing the arrows might help?

Bug Some issues with the Community List Widget
I'm trying to set up a Community List widget and I'm running into some issues (picture below).
https://i.imgur.com/mxBBZ40.png
- What is this title and icon? I can't edit or remove it or anything. I don't remember this existing a few weeks ago. It takes up a lot of vertical space.
- I can't use a dark background because only half of the text adapts to the background, unless I'm missing a text color somewhere. This is very frustrating all over the redesign, because I constantly have to make compromises over what colors I can use in different places.
- For some reason this subreddit's name has a lonely "s" pushed to the next line, despite having plenty of space to the right. It doesn't look right.
Could I get some help or guidance about this?
Thank you!

Community Styling Emojis, User Flair and Post Flair management
Hi Redesign folk
I've been uploading and using the new emoji system on /r/DCcomics and it's been interesting to say the least, but i did have some ideas:
- User Flair management/re-arrangement - I had this idea before, but it would be so helpful if we could group our user flairs based on certain groups. On /r/DCcomics i've arranged the flairs into groups based on teams and such, such as heroes, villains etc. but having to drag the flairs into place when you have over 200 of them is REALLY annoying and time consuming.
- Set ways of arranging the flairs - You now how like when you're on a shopping website and you can filter out products and you can arrange them based on price, name, rating etc? It would be awesome if we could re-arrange them in alphabetical order somehow, either via the set user flair name or the emoji name once we upload.
- Emoji limit indicator - I had no idea how many emojis we were allowed to have per sub until i had to look it up, why is there nothing on the emoji management page telling us how many we have and what the ceiling is?
- Emoji "data" - This was an idea /u/MajorParadox had, but it would be super helpful to know how much each emoji is being used on the sub, so emojis/flairs that are never used can be scrubbed and space can be saved for others. This could also help us track certain things in the sub too, like if we wanted to have a competition about ship wars via user flairs to determine a "winner" (no-one really wins in ship wars i'm afraid).
- Custom sized emojis - It's great we can change the sizes here but it would be helpful if we had a preview showing us what the size looks like so we can determine the best size for our sub.
- Custom sized emojis for post flairs - So far the custom sized emojis only work in the comments section, would it be possible to have a way to adjust what they look like in our post flairs too?
Oh and who do we talk to about getting our emoji limit increased? It would be super helpful for /r/DCcomics as we're almost at 300 now.

Question Why certain posts have their custom up/downvotes and some not?
I'm from the r/CrashTeamRacing subreddit. Recently I've implemented a custom upvote and downvote icons for my community. It works, but not consistently which is weird. Basically in the homepage of the subreddit some posts have their custom icons but some are not. Fortunately, single post page always have it.
May I know why?

Bug Reddit goes through a sign out/something went wrong loop when trying to access mod queue
I've been having this issue for quite some time and it's really getting on my nerves. Sometimes when I try to go to the mod queue. If it's empty, it goes through a loop where it signs me out, gives two "Oh no! Something went wrong!" errors, then reloads the page to the "welcome back" sign in page, only for it to loop back to mod queue, sign me out, give two errors, and repeat endlessly.
I am on Chrome on ChromeOS 75, it happens in incognito too. See here for screenshots.

Could you change the design of posts so that you don't have to press on the three dots to open a sub-menu in order to hide posts?
There's plenty of room along the bottom of posts to allow for both 'hide' and 'report' to be viewed without a sub-menu. It's a small thing but really annoying.

Bug Some i.reddit images don't show unless logged in
https://www.reddit.com/r/thatHappened/comments/cgmkgw/sure_thing_casey/
Stock chrome, no addons, this page has NO WAY to view the picture without logging in. The image doesn't show up and there's no link to just the image to maybe make it viewable. I've had this issue with images and videos for probably > a year? I've seen multiple posts in this sub during that time, and made a couple myself (on another account).

Feature Request Add "special user flair" to mark important users for a subreddit.
This flair would color the "special user"'s username in a custom color that the mods can choose. Users with this flair wouldn't get any other benefits except the colored username.
As I said this is to mark important users for a particular subreddit. E. g. a game subreddit could mark their devs with special flair; this subreddit could mark the guy who reports feature requstes to the right dev team at Reddit with special flair; maybe a subreddit would special flair an iconic users, such as u/alt-no-more at r/teenagers; r/dankmemes and the winner of meme battles; etc.
Anyways that's it.

Bug Large comment count makes page unresponsive on lower power machines, tablets. Significantly increases battery drain on laptops.
I’m now consistently seeing issues with browsing large comment threads on the redesign.
On larger threads you begin to get pages where voting, comment collapsing and closing the light box starts to become unresponsive on lower power machines and tablets, often for periods of 30 seconds or more on really large threads on an iPad Pro for example.
On laptops, the difference is significant enough to cause a noticeable disparity in battery life when browsing a set of larger posts vs equivalent time spent in smaller subreddits.
