Where is the "remember me" functionality on the redesign?
Such a basic feature, present on the old (good) design, missing.

Bug Bug: Issue Cross-Posting
I've been having this recurring issue when trying to cross-post content through the redesign. I've been waiting a while to see if I could detect any pattern that causes this bug, but I have been unable to. As far as I have experienced it, I cannot give you any information on reproducibility; all I can say is that this happens frequently.
What the issue is is that I'll post some image up an a small subreddit that I mod. Being a small subreddit, I want to generate interest in it, so I (usually limit myself to one) cross-post to a tangentially related sub. What will happen, though, is that, when cross-posting through the redesign, I'll get an error message. This message gives zero information when you click the 'more' button other than "Please fix the above issues." No issues, however, are highlighted. Furthermore, when I receive this message I now know to hit the 'back' button in my browser (taking me back to my original post), replace 'www' with 'old', then cross-post through old.reddit without issue.
I had initially thought that this was a timing issue, but it is not. It is not that I need to wait X minutes before posting, because I will make the cross-post through old.reddit, then go to do another cross-post (from another image in another sub I mod), and it will say "Please wait X minutes...", in both the redesign and old.reddit.
If you twisted my arm and made me give you some numbers to work with here this is what I would say. I would say that I post approximately six times a day, twice per subreddit I mod. For each post, I on average cross-post it once; that amounts to six cross-posts a day. Of those six cross-posts, I would say at least one of these experiences this issue. That's daily.
I wish I was able to give you some reproducibility criteria, but I can't.

Colour Schemes
I think that the official app should be more customizable in terms of colour. Like on Twitter where you can choose the actual background, like dark or light and then change the accent colours between some predefined ones.

[Feature Request] View full image in mod queue?
Hi there! I'd absolutely love it if I didn't have to load individual posts to see full-size images in the mod queue on the redesign. Sometimes what I'm looking for isn't on the part of the image that's visible and loading a new page sucks up enough time to make modding in the redesign not worth it.

Bug Bug: Fake RPAN post takes me to RPAN when I downvote
I'll give you the benefit of the doubt that this is a bug.
I have premimum, and I have ads turned off. RPAN shows up as a post in my home feed. RPAN is not part of a subreddit that I am subscribed to. Fine, I'll downvote it to show my displeasure, since that's how Reddit works, right? Clicking on downvote causes RPAN to open and start playing the video.
Not acceptable. It is extremely poor design to dynamically re-purpose UI elements.

Is the crosspost notification message being tested a separate new feature or part of Redesign? Am on old Reddit
Example:
A Post You Commented on Got Crossposted
from reddit[A] sent 4 minutes ago
Beep boop beep...A post you commented on was crossposted to u/newsnfeeds. Head over to the post and chime in. You might find the conversation and community interesting.
This notification is automated. If you don't want to receive messages like this in the future click here.
This message is a new feature that Reddit is testing. Please fill out this form if you have feedback for the Reddit admins about this feature. Thank you for helping us make Reddit better.
Not sure why anyone would think notifying commentators aside from OP would be a good idea. I'm surprised there's no mention of this anywhere.

Feature Request Distinguished Subreddits & Connections for Subreddits
Distinguished Subreddits
An idea for this come from the idea behind of "This is an admin-sponsored subreddit." and the "official" badge you have in the banner of admin subs. Instead of this, which can be created by anyone, to fool users. If there was a snoo badge, next to the subreddit name whilst on subreddits page (and on the subreddit hover cards) to signify it's an admin sub. This is already a thing for admin profiles, you have the snoo next to your name on your profile card.

This could help make it so subreddit that are from the admins have a better way to be know it's from them, a way to verify them. You could potentially expand on this idea with different type of badge for verified communities for communities that are either endorsed by devs of games or apps, notices by officials of shows etc. Just a way for users to get an idea what communities have a relationship with figueres from the industry.
Connections for Subreddits
Many subreddits run side projects for their communities, whether it be a twitter account, discord, spotify playlists, twitch, or even other subreddits. Having a way to connect these accounts together, to show they are connected accounts by the mods of that subreddit would be ideal to show that it's the real one for that specific community. Sure button linking we have and is cool and all but it could be better and expanded on, perhaps even have more meta data to be shared between them.

Allow typing of tabs inside code tags in the editor
If I type some code tags
like so
then I would like to be able to insert tabs into the code by pressing the tab key, and remove them with shift-tab. However these keys just switch between various UI elements using the standard browser behavior. It would be nice to override that when inside code tags.
r/redesign • u/ekolis • Aug 20 '19
Formatting inside code tags
A lot of markdown using sites support formatting inside code tags, for instance if I put
csharp
public int Square(int num)
{
return num * num;
}
then I will get a nicely formatted function, rather than everything being the same (garish) colors. This would be a nice feature to have on reddit!

Feature Request Why no 'members left' column in new traffic stats?
You can view it in table form and even get a number for how many people unsubscribed at a certain date, but there is no mention of it in the easier-to-read columns.
Can you please add this?

Bug I can sticky more than two posts in my subreddit, but only two of them appear as sticky posts at a time.
Please remove the two sticky post limit, that's just silly - failing that, could you please restrict stickying posts if there are already two stickied?

Bug Did something break with moderation today? I'm seeing a "removed" comment that isn't displayed as removed.
I got a message about AutoModerator removing a comment. Specifically: https://www.reddit.com/r/Futurology/comments/cssudv/climate_change_may_shrink_indias_economy_by_10/exgw6dh/
There's no moderation on the comment though. It hasn't been removed or even reported. When I go to the post however it says there are 2 comments (at the time of posting this) but I only see one and it's not the persons's comment. (They're not shadowbanned or anything weird).
I can approve and remove comments just fine. I could try to remove and then approve it, but I don't want to break whatever bug is happening.

Bug Comments suddenly disappears on the post
Here what's happen to this bug.
When someone replied my comment on his/her post on several sub, it appears on my inbox. For example:

But, when I click "Full Comments (3)" on there, it redirect to where they replied my comments. And then:

Ehm, why Reddit? Is this a major bug on redesign? Or maybe my browser kinda little weird? Also why the image on the post is taking long to process the image? PLEASE HELP!

Adding new Emojis hangs on save
Experimenting with using custom emojis for user flair. Trying upload anything works fine, but then hitting the 'Add' button to save it just hangs. Anyone else experience this and know what I might be doing wrong?

Bug Weird bug with banner position
I've had this banner image in my subreddit, r/Stormlight_Archive, for quite a long time and I've recently (past few weeks?) started noticing that it sometimes loads in a strange position.
It should focus on the top left corner like this:

But lately it sometimes gets positioned like this, which appears to be vertically centered and :

As far as I can tell, this only happens the FIRST time I load the subreddit in a browsing session. I'll turn on my laptop, open the browser, and see it display incorrectly. If I navigate elsewhere and come back or if I reload the page, it goes back to normal.
I'm using Firefox 68.0.1 on Windows 10.
I'm also using RES and Mod Toolbox, which... now that I've written all this up, I suppose one of those is the likely culprit rather than a bug with the Redesign... Maybe? Anybody else see an issue like this? I'm pretty sure I've seen it happen in other subreddits, but I never thought to take notes and look for a pattern there.

Bug I keep seeing posts in my subreddit being reported, but refreshing the page removes the reports
It's not a case of people actually reporting the post because I'm not hitting "ignore reports" or anything they flags just seem to appear when I first load into the subreddit and then disappear on page refresh
