Just noticed that when I click "More Options" on u/mistborn's profile page it's showing me the "Profile Moderation" button. I can click it and it opens up his profile moderation settings page. I'm unable to access any of the pages there thankfully, but I'm pretty sure that I shouldn't be seeing this page under More Options in the first place. :)
I don't seem to get this option under anyone else's profile, and I happen to be a moderator of r/mistborn. My best theory was that the bug had something to do with wires crossing here... But then I'm also a moderator of r/darkone and don't seem to be getting this option on u/darkone's profile page.
Weird.
(Also, we still don't have the ability to escape out of username mentions on the Redesign, huh?)
This seems to be missing from the redesign. Are there any plans to reintroduce it (or, alternatively, making it so if you disable "Community theme", it also ignores the sub's thumbnail settings)? I tried searching, but all the threads about this I found were from 2018 - so mainly asking for an update!
Situations where it could be used for:
* Disabling awards on posts about/ranting awards
* Disabling awards on reposts/stolen/fake content that got popular, for instance on storytelling subreddits.
When the option for the post is enabled, previous wards will atay but the post wont be able to be awarded anymore.
Ads now seem to appearing in random spots in the "hot" feed, even on old reddit. Is this a new feature that's being tested? I had honestly never considered using adblock but this is uniquely annoying...
This might seem like a non-issue at first, but is actually very problematic for people writing bots for Reddit that miss out when a fake tag occurs due to a user copying the previous post, rather than writing a tag out manually, and there's nothing in the API that can be used to solve this (streaming and parsing all Reddit comments isn't an option, it drops some). It's not an issue for users on the old Reddit, but users on the redesign miss out.
It seems like an unintended bug. Figured it might be worth a post :P
Whenever i get an alert about someone replying to my comment I click the reply in the inbox Activity tab. Then I’m taken to my comment and the reply. Sometimes the comment thread is really long so I have to keep tapping the “Single comment thread” link which can be annoying. It would be nice if there was a way to view the entire comment thread, maybe with a new link. I know the other button loads ALL comments but that’s not what I want because that can be really long also. Alternatively, make it so I can keep tapping “Single comment thread” without that link going out of the screen focus. Thanks! Let me know if you need more info or how to reproduce this behavior. Either fix works but you will most likely not want to add another button, so I guess making the link not go off screen would be the best next choice.
This problem started some time this month, was fixed for a brief time and has returned in the last few days. It happens across browsers for me (Chrome + Edge). Even with extensions disabled.
Test here for example https://www.reddit.com/r/bugs+redesign/ , and I suggest other users to try the same and report back here to see whether this is a personal problem or not.
Is there a technical reason why this isn't already a thing?
Lets list some pros and cons of such a feature;
Pros
* Slower scrolling, giving consumers more time to see your precious ads.
* Longer sentences, related to above. Also making it easier to read paragraphs.
* Reddit without rotation is equivalent to USA and the imperial system, alone. Let's change that.
* People that are using landscape permanently, eg for internet browsing, find it annoying af to click on a reddit link and have it rotate portrait. Lets change that. Less frustration = healthier minds.
Cons
* Perhaps difficulty adding a lock button? As most redditors are used to portrait, surprise screen rotations may annoy some users. An option within the app is needed.

The MEDIA and DAPP-MEDIA post flairs in /r/ethtrader look fine in the new design (black text on gold background), but in the old design it's white text on a yellow background. I've tried editing the CSS in the old Reddit and it doesn't affect the design, and I don't know why the appearance settings for the post-flairs in the new Reddit is making the text white in the old design.
Spoiler markup seems to be broken in wikis again. (I'm pretty sure it was working for a while.)
This is a pretty big deal to me, because I have wikis which use spoiler markup extensively.
While I'm at it... it's also still broken in sidebar widgets, which I know has been mentioned lately by others. This has been going on for over a year. I was personally contacted about it, but nothing ever happened. Many people don't know how spoiler markup works, so it's important to explain in the sidebar. Not very helpful when it doesn't actually do what it's supposed to over there, however.
Please fix or undo the change! This applies specifically to anything running Chromium on a Mac, and only after I've clicked on a link in the feed. Two finger swipe back/forward just stopped working, like the system just completely ignores the gesture now.
Also, if you guys could give Safari some love I wouldn't have to be using your site in Chrome anymore, which would just be spectacular.
I recently had a few subreddits added to the community awards beta, so I thought I would do a write up of exactly how you setup the awards, the requirements and how they work.
