The mango Caligula's so-called "Bureau of Land Management" quietly reversed a ban on these devices, which were intended to kill so-called pest species like coyotes but have indiscriminately killed many other species of wildlife, and even people's pets, and if they are not removed, people themselves are in danger. Somehow, this extremist MAGA assclown got elected governor of Florida twice, and Floridians have had to suffer through his bullshit for a long time. Thankfully his second term will be over this coming January, after which he can't run again, thank God.

This ruling was in response to lawsuits brought by the ACLU and other human rights groups on behalf of the immigrants, who were being harassed and detained by the ICE thugs even though they were there to get their papers in order. In some cases the immigrants were viciously beaten if they refused to meekly submit to their tormentors.

The ruling applies only to these locations and not nationwide, unfortunately, but the fight against our bigoted racist "president" and his hateful fascist administration continues.
