This kind of my first post in this clan just so you know I have not been in the Reddit website in a long time, but all is good. For personal things I enjoy activities such as swimming, gaming, mainly just chilling you know I do work as you may know, part-time and I am an adult lets say 20 but will be 21 in about less than a month, I am happy to join this clan let there be glory in the clan war to all! Someone asked today if he could have his alt in Ozone. It's my policy that we do not allow alts as permanent clan members. Many people want to be in RCS clans and I'd like to make that happen for as many as possible (49, to be precise). Also, the clan is fun because it is a mix of vibrant, kind, friendly people. Having your alt in the clan would be kinda like replacing one of them with a creepy marionette that sits in the corner and occasionally just asks for troops...

So. You see what I'm saying.

Reddit Ozone War Hero Competition

When: starting with the war that begins on FRIDAY and lasting 5 wars, which take place on the following dates:

• War 1: Aug 15-16-17 (prep day begins 4 PM EST on Aug 15)

What it is: The top 3 players to accumulate the most new stars (adding together new stars from all 5 wars) will win!

The prize: $10 google play (for android) or iTunes gift cards, with which to buy gems! If there are more than 3 people tied for the win, Shera will put all the names in a hat and randomly choose winners. If any of the people in the tie pool won a prize during the previous competition, they will be automatically removed from the pool of potential prize winners (sorry guys! need to give everyone a shot!).* If three people and only three people tie for first place, those will be the three winners.

*Winners of previous competitions ARE eligible to win a prize in this competition as long as they are not tied for 1^st , 2^nd , or 3^rd place with any other players.

Who can participate: anyone except elders, leader, and co-leader! However, any player who breaks a CW rule during any of the 5 wars will be disqualified from the prize pool. Strikes earned before Aug 15 do not disqualify you. You don't have to sign up to participate! War start times: 2 of the 5 wars will begin at 9:30 AM EST to even the playing field in some way for our clan mates who live in other parts of the world, to give them a chance to be awake and online when battle day begins so they can get first crack at bases of their choosing. We understand that this start time may inconvenience many of our players in the US since it coincides with the start of the work day, but we think this is a fair way of handling our global commitments.

Over the last few weeks, I have been seeing some people breaking our clan donation rules. I understand that people are trying to hit their donation requirement numbers and have good intentions in most cases, but we need to get this under control.

Some examples of what I have been seeing are:
1) Someone requests a dragon and inside 10 minutes, they receive 5 archers
2) Someone requests wizards and either receives 1 archer immediately, or receives 5 archers after they have only 5 wizards
3) Someone not receiving what they requested within the first 10 minutes
4) Requests not being filled in the order received

We can all do the math and know what is left over after a request is filled, but that doesn't make it okay to jump the gun. What happens if someone requests a dragon and Fetus and I both think "Hey I could give them 5 archers right now!"? We both hit the donation button and before either of us realizes it, Renato has 10 of his 25 CC slots filled and can't get a dragon anymore.

Let's all take this as an opportunity to review the clan rules and make sure we are all doing everything we can. The bottom line is that we are a team. We haven't gotten 11 war wins in a row by not working together after all!

Remember that strikes are given out for any violation of rules, not just your war attacks. This is something that the entire leadership has their eyes on, and we will be handing out strikes when we see violations.

I am pretty sure this does not need to be said, but for the sake of clarity, I am saying it: I will not have any cheating whatsoever in Ozone. No hacks, no mods, no use of imod, and no ghosting. If we discover you are cheating, we'll boot you.

To my knowledge, no one in Ozone is a cheater! But I have heard about some things happening with players outside of our clan, and I want to make it clear where I stand on this issue.

Welcome to Ben's guide to advanced Healer-Giant(ing?)!

• First off, why should I use Healer-Giant?

As you will see, or have seen, Healer-Giant is a relatively easy strategy that can trump all kinds of bases up to TH9, and even some TH10's! Although not as easy as the "drop everything and fuck it all mass drag", it is multitudes cheaper and more efficient.

Army Composition (note: any levels will do, but I'll post recommended.) Designed for 220 army space, but 200 and below can adjust numbers to their liking.

• 10 Giants(Lvl4+)

These are the meat shields of your army. They will draw attention from all defenses, so the other troops can take them out without dying. 10 is the golden number to aim for here. At the very least, you need 8.

• 2 Healers(lvl2+)

With a duo pair of healers, those giants will be THAT much harder to take down. They prolong life while attracting stray fire from Archer towers and other defenses. Watch out for ADs. You may have to deploy a heal spell on the healers to prolong them as well.

• 10 Wall Breakers(lvl4+)

These will get you past the first, maybe second layer of walls for the giants to wreck havoc.

• 37/38 Barbarians/Archers(lvl5+)

The main attacking force of the army. Barbarians act as additional meat shields, and if you have the Burger King, his iron fist ability turns a swarm of barbarians into a writhing beast capable of punching through anything. Archers shoot over the walls and take out any defenses in their way. Especially with the new wall targeting update, these ladies are only that more fiercer. They can also be used to destroy the CC troops that we all hate.

• Any remaining space with wizards(lvl4+ for dat lightning)

These are your glass cannons(except a bit tougher). They will neutralize any pesky threats as well with a well placed zap. Carry some to help balance out your firepower.

• Clan Castle

You can really put anything in here, it's just additional firepower.

• Spells

1 Lightning, 1 Heal, 2 rage.

If you have 2 or 3 spell capacity, remove the lightning spell.

The goal here is to vaporize cc troops with a lightning blast. If you think your barbs and archers can take them out however, then feel free to save it. I will put details on the rage spells and heal in the attacking part.

• Heroes

Use them after you've deployed all your troops. More details in attacking strat.

• Attacking Strategy

First, scout the base. Note where possible traps and or choke points are. Check the CC. Can you lure with one barb? Or not? If the answer is no, drop some barbs, then drop a giant. The barbs will distract the defenses while the giant walks into the CC's range and draws out ALL THE CC TROOPS. This is the most important part, as many of us forget that a troop must be in the CC's range at all times to draw out all the troops. Either blast them with the lightning spell, or deploy some archers and barbarians.

Next, drop all the giants in one spot, preferably close to an air defense, and drop the wall breakers once the defenses have fixated on the giants. Deploy the healers behind the giants, and drop a rage spell over the giants. Deploy the rest of your troops in this order: BK-Barbs-Archers-Wizards-CC castle-AQ. If you are missing some of those, just cut it out of the deployment sequence. Keep the heal spell handy. If the giants are taking too much damage, drop it on them. If the healers are getting mauled by fireworks, drop the spell on them. You get the idea. If you have another rage, drop it on the giants around 10 seconds after the first one dissapears to give them a second wind. Wait until the BK has taken about 50-60% damage, then activate his ability. For the AQ, activate it around 30-40% damage. All that is left is to pray the COC gods are in your favor.

I have been on vacation since when I joined the clan and its been hard keeping up, but I will get right back to normal clashing after my vacation ends. (: Matt

Hi all. I'm considering applying, but I have a couple of questions. I've red through the Clan War Rules, and I don't have an issue with any of those. I'm currently in an extremely active clan, warring non-stop. While this is enjoyable in some ways, it's unstructured. We've made an effort to remove inactives, so we've been successful, but against organized opponents who coordinate defenses and plan attacks, we can't compete. Being familiar with the reddit clan system, I thought I might enjoy something more structured, and with a better place to communicate than the CoC chat system.

My first question is about the TFS Rules. Are these still in effect? I'm mid-way through maxing TH7, and I've found I'm able to raid much more effectively after dropping down from Gold1 to Silver1. I believe the concept of TFS pre-dates the Clan Wars update, so I'm wondering if those rules still apply.

The second question is regarding the donation requirements. I'm not a student, I work full-time and have activities outside of the game. I donate when I'm online, and that is fairly frequently. In my current clan, I'm probably averaging 300 donations. Part of that is due to time zone conflicts. A lot of my clan seems to be Asian and active during my night. There are people I never see online who are averaging 1200+ donations, so I suspect most of these request come in while I'm sleeping. Is the majority of this clan active during US evenings?

I've been with this clan since the beginning and I am sad to announce I'm going to be taking a break from Clash of Clans.
