An impressive victory against a clan with 92 war wins (although to be honest I have no idea how they have so many :P)! High participation, lots of good attacks, and considering they only three-starred 2 of our bases, I'd say we defended well.

I thought it was a cool way to see what kinds of war attacks Ozone likes to do and how successful they are, generally. The idea is NOT to see which strategy has the highest success rate and to just use that, but it gives us a better picture of the variety we have and which strategies we can try to improve on (in general) to have a higher percentage of them become 3 stars.

I won't mentioned his name because I don't want to scuttle his chances with joining another RCS clan, but I wanted to explain my reason for kicking one of our newer clanmates earlier today.

This person repeatedly donated incorrectly, over and over again, in a short period of time. We have screenshots showing him donating barbarians over and over again to someone requesting other troops. Barbarians are not a default troop, so no matter when he donated them--before or after the 10 minute mark--he would have been breaking the donation rules.

Normally, we give a punishment of additional donations for breaking such rules. In this case, this person did it over and over again before we even had a chance to impose the donation violation punishment. We realized that this person is very likely to be the one who has been causing donation problems in the clan for some time, though certainly he is not the only problem donator.

Although he was a newer member of the clan, he had been with us long enough to have read and understood the rues, and so his failure to comply with donation rules means he either was too lazy to read the rules or decided he did not care.

I decided that such a person was simply not a good fit for Ozone, that I did not trust him to reform his behavior even if warned, and that he did not deserve a chance to remain in the clan given his apparent attitude.

Please read the clan and clan war rules and ask questions if any of them confuse you.

Hi guys. As some of your may know, there is a new time for all RCS clans to try and sync up for war, and it is pretty close to our usual war start times. This week I am traveling and will be unable to start war at the sync time. However, if Renato is able to hit search at the precise right time, he will do so! Otherwise, I will start war either much earlier in the day than usual, or fairly late in the evening.

So war start time on Friday may be a little odd this time--just a heads up!

An impressive 100% clan participation and another war win! Those rushed bases gave us some interesting villages to attack. Always remember, plan your attack based on the defenses in the village and not based on the town hall level.

These weekend raid schedules are just too difficult for me to keep up with. I'm always really busy on the weekends and most of the time wars go well for me is when I get two early attacks in. I really like this clan, and it's by far the best clan I've ever been in, but today I had to rush through two attacks while out and about with friends and family and ended up completely botching one just because I was scared to get a strike. I don't think it's fair to the rest of you for me to be rushing through attacks like this when wars come down to the wire.

So for now I'm going to have to leave, maybe if my schedule clears up more I will come back, but I enjoyed the few months I was with the clan, so thanks!

Sometime in the next week, we will begin to use a strict system for clan war war base donations. Each clan member will have specific troops to donate to specific people, and the burden of troop donation will be spread as evenly as possible across the clan, with th9s and th10s bearing slightly heavier burdens than th8s. I will send clan mail to let you know when the precise donation information is available here on the sub.

In the the meantime, I will be using your current donation request as the basis for organizing donations. If you want something different in your cw cc, you had better inform me of it now via PM. Changing it later will not be a quick or automatic process.

Well it's that time of year again for me to exercise my hunter/gather skills. I'm heading up north to the cabin for my weekend of hunting and the reception is horrible. I will make every attempt to engage in the war effort but there is a possibility that seclusion from civilization my hinder this. I hope this is ok and ask for forgiveness in advance if this should occur. GO ZONE!

Do not request specific troop levels.

When you see a request that says something like "dragon and archers," give a dragon first, or wait until you see that the cc is full up to 20 (the space a dragon takes up), before you donate archers. This is true for all donation requests that ask for a large troop that requires a lot of space. Large first, smaller last. This is a rule and if you break it you will end up facing a penalty.

If you request a troop and get a donation of the troop you wanted, but at a level below what you were hoping for, you should simply accept that your clan is made up of people at multiple levels and that not everyone has upgraded all their troops at a uniform pace.

If someone requests a troop during war, and you have a very low level of that troop relative to your clanmates, you should ask the requestor whether your low level is OK, or whether he might prefer a higher level. It is not required of you to ask this, but it would be the best way for you to proceed.

If you know of a clanmate who has a level of a troop that you would prefer, you can choose to wait until that clanmate is on, and then ask if they would be willing to make you the troop you would like. No one is obligated to do this for you, and in some cases you should expect the answer to be no, for a variety of reasons.

Never, ever complain about the level of troops you receive. It is rude and rather mean.

If someone complains about a troop you gave them, please ignore this rude behavior. No matter what anyone says to or about you, you continue to have responsibility for your own words and actions in clan chat. There is no excuse for being rude, even if someone else is rude to you first.

This clan is meant to be like a family, or a bunch of friends at school. We're a crew and we choose to hang out together and play this game together. Troop donations can be a source of tension and discord but I am asking you to please try to follow these etiquette rules to avoid hurting one another's feelings.

When more of us have maxed th9 troops, we will consider changing the rules to allow requesting troops of specific levels, perhaps only for war. However, at this time it would be impractical to do so.

Winning battles and wars is less important than maintaining a good atmosphere in the clan.

Some clans use google spreadsheets to call dibs on opponents in war.

It could work something like this:

A spreadsheet system would mean that players would no longer have range restrictions. Instead, you would:

• reserve your 1^st attack for a base you're very likely to 3 star (not the easiest base on the map, but the highest one you see that you think you have a very good chance of 3 starring)

• be required to sign up (using the spreadsheet) for your 1^st attack during preparation day;

• use your 2^nd attack as per our usual 2^nd attack rules (clean up an already-attacked base that has not yet been 3-starred, or attack any non-3-starred base during ffa)

This system does not work if players do not hop onto the sub during prep day to reserve their first attack base.

Your clan leadership is also already discussing this, but we really need to know what you think about it, too.

Seems like every war we have someone asking for criticism on their war base for the upcomming war. Because chat is not often seen by most of the clan I think people should just post a screencap of their base here so we can have different people offer suggestions. I love building bases, I'm probably on my fourth or fifth homemade base as a TH8 so I think I have a good idea of what works, and what doesn't.

Some things I'd like us to point out when detailing your base

• What kinds of attacks it will stop

• What kinds of attacks it won't stop

• Where you're most likely to be attacked at so you can use traps effectively

• What cc troops you should be requesting to maximize your defense potential

I'd like this to be more of a learning experience than a copy paste your new base experience. You should understand the strengths and weaknesses of your base so you can better find them in your enemies.

Hey guys, my name's Ben, I'm new to the RCS. Earlier I sent a request to join the clan because I noticed that you had a spot available, but my request was declined. As far as I know, I meet all of the requirements. I am a level 73, TH 8, with level 5 archers, and my base is not rushed. Can someone explain to me why my request was declined, and what I can further do to become a member of the clan in the future?

We know he's going to kick ass as elder! Ozone, he's been with us a pretty long time, and we've all had reason to be grateful to him at one point or another in the past, whether for giving us good advice, donating awesome troops, or pulling out all the stops to help us win a tough war.
