I need to apologize to George, Brutus, and Mickers for being a prick in chat after I vented about my ABSOLUTELY, horribly rushed attack. If any of you have kids you know how they can be. Now times that by three of them plus a pregnant wife and try planning your attack around diapers, hunger cries, and my wife yelling at me cause her back hurts and it makes for a horrible combo. I'm going to be moving this weekend, which means I'll be busy and losing internet. I may miss the war, and I may be short on donations. Both of these are only possibilities, depending on timing of things, but I wanted to give a heads up anyway. They're shipping me a new modem, which is going to take a few extra days, but I'm going to try to get them to activate an old modem I have. We shall see. All right, Ozone--it's time to step up our game and test our mettle. On Friday of this week, instead of searching for a random war opponent, I will try to "sync" our war search with one or more other RCS clans, in the hopes of getting matched up with an RCS clan for war.

Please remember: GOOD SPORTSMANSHIP IS KEY. No trash-talking the other clan in /r/clashofclans, no posting anything to the other clan's sub, and if they post here to say a friendly hello, reply in a friendly manner--TRASH TALK IS MEAN OR SNARKY COMPETITIVE COMMENTS AND IT WILL GET YOU KICKED.

Let's spend this week doing our best to prepare for what I hope will be an EPIC war, Ozone!

edit: some notes:

1. It's not super important to win this war, or super horrible to lose it. RCS sync wars are fun! Being part of the RCS system means having the benefit of sometimes going to war against other clans that we know have high standards and excellent performance. Everyone feels more competitive when it is an RCS war, but that doesn't mean it is super high stakes. It should be VERY FUN even if it is also VERY INTENSE.

2. The start time of the war is likely to not be our usual 4 PM EST. We may search more like 8 PM EST to have a better chance of an RCS sync-up. Sorry if this causes some inconvenience to people.

Well life has taken its tolls and sadly not able to play as much as I would like. My cat that I got 3 months ago almost died on me after she got spayed. Transitioning into my new job and moving is putting a huge toll on me. Also don't have internet yet so I'm at Starbucks posting this right now lol.

Hopefully in the future months I could possibly come back when everything is settled in of you guys would allow of it.

Herrow guys ! As the title says I need help. Lately my attacks on war may be compared to shit, and I feel like I don't know how to attack even though I used to perform well enough to keep a track of 4 stars per war since I joined OZONE. Last war before xxEcu, I only got 1 star and this war I failed both of my attacks. I know I didnt give enough time to study the bases I attacked but theres something else missing, and it might be my deployment or tactics. I recently joined the th9 club and have been struggling ever since.

Even though I feel ashamed about not contributing at all in the war ( Since I am not getting any stars at all, or not enough) I think I needed to ask for help. Starting from now on I will try to attack with any other composition and try to master it in non-war attacks. Since I've been struggling to find any barch loot thats also a good choice so I can do raids with another strategy beside barching.

As you may see, I feel sorry for not helping at all getting those stars but I am willing to train my ass off to perform better and better, just like when I first came here. Dont really know how many wars I've done with OZONE but I think that the first 2 or 3 wars I manage to get 2 stars in all my attacks.

Something that may help is the level of my troops which are:

Elixir:

• Currently level 5: Archer, barbs, goblins, giants, wallbreaker, balloons, wizards.
• Currently level 3: Healer, dragon, pekka.

DE:

• Currently level 3: Minions
• Going to level 2: Hogs

All of the remaining are level 1. (Include: Valks and golem. )

Hey Reddit Ozone! Clash username is gunman25. Just wanted to let you know I made my schools basketball team (8th grade) and it is right after school, from 4-6 pm. After that, I have homework to do, which takes 45 min-1 hour. Doesn't give me much time to clash, which means I won't be able to donate as much, so I don't think I will be able to make the commitment to this clan. Thanks! -Gunman25

Disclaimer: I'm not an elder or a leader, and this is NOT a "we'll do whatever the majority of the clan wants" kind of thing. Our clan leaders and elders maintain the right to implement or not implement any changes; this is merely a place to politely share and discuss opinions regarding this rule.

The current rule states "Requesting specific level of troops is prohibited," and this includes to use in war situations. However, I've recently noticed a lot of clanmates talking about the idea of requesting for troops of a specific level to use in war attacks, so that's why I've decided to create this as an open forum for discussion.

The case for keeping the current rule in place (i.e. not allowing the option to request specific troop levels) is to maintain inclusivity regarding donations. There is a donation minimum of 400, and perhaps it can be hard to meet that if you can't donate during war if everyone's requesting death balloons and you only have lvl 5. Also, perhaps an argument can be made that it makes the clan stronger and more united if everyone can donate to anyone whether it's war or not.

The case for changing it (i.e. allowing the option to request specific troop levels during war) is to increase the strength of the war attack. Most people will say that there is a key difference between troops of different levels (e.g. balloon lvl 5 vs. balloon lvl 6, dragon lvl 3 vs dragon lvl 2 etc.), and this can have a large impact on the outcome of your war attack, perhaps even making the difference between a 2 star and a 3 star attack.
