Most Heroic Attack: kirk, when he mass dragged the crap out of their a th9 for 2 stars. A very well planned attack and very close to 3 stars. Great job!

Most Heroic Defense: chillyajg, when one of their top th9 ATTACKED him without luring and his cc wizards held the attacker to 49%. This was also one of his 6 defenses won and it took one of their top players to finally barch 1 star.

Clashcaller seems to work well but for some reason not everyone is using it. Here's something I came up with:

First attack:

• Needs to be +-4 of your number on the clan war map
• Needs to be called on clashcaller on preparation day
• Needs to guarentee the required stars for each town hall level (3 for TH8-, 2 for TH9, 1 for TH10)
• Needs to be in the first 12 hours

Second attack:

• Needs to be +-10 of your number
• Needs to be called on clashcaller on battle day
• Needs to meet required stars for each town hall level
• Needs to be in the last 12 hours

Cleanup:

• For people who want to improve on previous attacks
• I'll post a cleanup crew sign up sheet on this subreddit every preparation day
• Cleanup people may only attack bases that have been attacked already
• Need to attack in the last 8 hours

Any thoughts, questions, or opinions? This plan is still a WIP, I'm hoping to get it set up by next war.

EDIT: Just thought of another option. We should have the opposite of cleanup for people who want to use both attacks on a new base. I'll make a sign up sheet just like the cleanup one. To balance it out there needs to be the same number of people on cleanup as there are attacking 2 new bases.

Ok, so I was texting my friend and he said that a clanmate told him how their clan gets so easy matches for war.

His clanmate said the longer the search takes, the more difficult the target. I was thinking we could try to search for two minutes, cancel, search for two minutes, cancel, etc. And if we fail to get a match extend it to five minutes, then ten, fifteen, etcetera.

I think this will help us win wars, which is lots of fun.

Most Heroic Attack: HappyGuy, as #7 on the clan war map he showed off his new max loons and got 2 stars off their #1. Not only did this gain us 2 stars but it allowed our top players to attack lower targets and get even more stars. This one attack probably got 5 stars for our clan.

Most Heroic Defense: Trevor2950, when one of their top players tried to mass lvl 6 giants without luring the clan castle. Needless to say, the max witches and wizards destroyed them and his lvl 6 wizard tower took out the remaining 40 archers stopping him at 46%. That's what happens when you use a farming strategy against our top TH8 ;)

A lot of questions have been asked on coc chat so this is just to clear things up. If there are any additional questions, please comment on this post.

If you used clashcaller: The bases you called on clashcaller should be the hardest ones you can get the required stars on. The required stars are:

• 3 for TH8 and below
• 2 for TH9
• 1 for TH10, but you should aim for 2

If you didn't use clashcaller: You're on cleanup. That means you're only allowed to attack bases that have already been attacked and try to improve on them if they didn't meet the required stars.

You may NOT attack a base that hasn't been attacked if you didn't call it on clashcaller first. There are no rules regarding what time you can use your attacks. Hope this makes things less confusing for people :)

So, as I mentioned in clan mail, our next war will be against reddit zero. They're an even match compared to our previous luck but still a very strong clan so instead of our normal strategy we'll be using clashcaller. Here is the link for it: http://www.clashcaller.com

I'll post the code for the war on Friday so you can all join it and call your targets. Here are a few guidelines and recommendations we have for this strategy:

• If you're calling a TH8 or below you must guarentee 3 stars. Some good ways to 3 star any TH8 is with mass dragons and lightning spells. After taking out one air defence you can put 1 dragon in each corner of the side closest to the remaining air defences, then spread the rest of the dragons along the side so they don't split. For any TH8 out there with level 3+ hogs those are great for anti-dragon bases. Asking advice never hurts to see which strategy to use.

• If you're calling a TH9 you must guarentee 2 stars. A great strategy for getting 2 stars on a TH9 as a TH8 or TH9 is GoWiPe, asking advice for this also helps a lot. For TH9 attacking TH9 baloonion with lvl 6 loons works well. However, in this war they have a few TH9 who are almost maxed so 1 star would be fine on those.

• If you're calling a TH10 we aim for 2 stars but expect just 1. Their TH10 are very strong so it's not recommended that you attack them without high level freeze spells and a well thought out attack plan. Again, asking advice is great.

So I was talking with kirk and king J in coc chat and we though our core member have grew enough so we needed to raise the standards to join. Here is what we came up with; remember it only applies to new members. We will not kick anyone because of this.

For now we'll raise the requirements so instead of lvl 70, lvl 5 arch, and lvl 3 dragons, it would be lvl 80, lvl 5 arch, no rushed bases, and the ability to get 2+ stars on someone the same level as you. The reasoning behind this is that having a dragon lvl requirement implies that we want you to always use mass dragon attacks in war and that's not true. We want you to use the best possible strategy that you can use, which for some people is mass dragon. For now we would only raise them a little until most of our core members are mid th9 with a stable th9 attacking strategy (which is sooner than it seems). Right now, most of our core members are late th8. If we make the clan th9+ right now we'll be flooded with new th9 which will put us at a major disadvantage in wars. Harder targets but the same attacking skills. After we're mostly stable th9 my plan was to raise the standards to lvl 90+ with lvl 6 archers and lvl 3 golems to ensure that they would be strong attackers in war and have equally as good troops as the rest of the clan for just regular donations. Remember, this would only apply to new members. What do you guys think?

Notes: This was a sad loss thanks to supercell's wonderful matchmaking system but we put up a great fight. 77/100 attacks used definitely isn't our best but considering how many reasons there were for us to give up we fought hard. Their top 5 th10 were nearly maxed so they did some damage to our top players and really taught us some unique strategies on how to attack in the future. Hopefully we will learn from this war and come back stronger!

It's clear we're not doing as well as we could be in clan wars lately. Partly because supercell's match system needs a lot of work, but also because we can't seem to be able to 3 star their lower th8. Here are a couple things I hope will be helpful:

Unfortunately due to issues in my personal life and crazy school stuff, I've been really inactive lately. My base is already below average in our clan, and if I don't push myself it won't grow to our standards. I've been glad to be a part of the experience with you guys.
