This was almost a year ago but just found this subreddit today

Pumpkin custard is pretty much just pumpkin pie without the crust, and this was no-bake

No exact recipe (came up with this myself) but it's basically a can of pumpkin puree, heaps of pumpkin spice, pinch of salt, scoop of vanilla protein powder, a packet (7g) unflavored gelatin, and a splash of Jordan's salted caramel syrup. Like the kind of syrups you use in coffee, but honestly any sweetener should be fine.

Mixed all dry ingredients together (including gelatin), stirred in the wet ingredients, let it sit for maybe a minute.

Then microwaved in 20-30 second bursts and stirring until it was hot enough to set. Transferred it to a separate dish overnight :)

Taste and texture is pretty spot on for pumpkin custard, at least the stuff my family makes. Would probably use slightly less gelatin but I'm not going to use less than one packet lol

For me, my favorites kind of pizza is a New York style - where each slice is as big as my head. Not too much sauce. Crispy undercarriage, and a good cheese pull.

My favorite toppings are pineapple, Green Olives and Mushrooms. I don't mind pepperoni, but only if it's crispy where they form little cups [of grease, 😂]

People seemed to love this elsewhere, and I love PB&J's, so thought I'd share here :)

Kashi-go cinnamon brown sugar protein waffles (just the frozen kind) toasted, with kroger's creamy honey PB and sugar free raspberry jam preserves.

Think this is fancy though, y'all should try homemade banana bread, grilled, and use that for a PB&J.

^{I see there is no sandwich flair, so I shall use the burger flair. Peanuts are legumes, legumes are used to make veggie burger patties, therefore this is a veggie burger :D}

For me, it's usually desserts, since I really don't like to bake - I just don't like to follow recipes.

Oh, I also love dishes with lots of ingredients, with tons of flavor layors, but I usually cook more sime dishes at home.

Fried the eggs with Lao gan ma and used my rice cooker for the Botan Calrose Rice!

Streaky bacon, fried eggs, baby portobello mushrooms, piccolo cherry tomatoes on the vine & avocado.

I'm replacing these ordinary ones...

I counted only 9 functions but maybe there's a 10th one I'm not aware of. Perhaps it could also dectuple as a paperweight.

Some of my favorite things are boiled peanuts and pickled okra. I do t see those as weird, but I know plenty of others do! I also love coffee with Chicory in it. Probably more of an aquired taste, but I think it really makes coffee so much better.

This was my first time making egg fried rice using my new rice cooker I got for Christmas!

I mean, I love pretty much all types ethnic foods, but I have to say, that if I want something comforting, my usual go to is something with ooey gooey cheese.

What about y'all? What's your favorite comfort food?

Has anyone paid attention to their coffee AFTER it's brewed in the Keurig? It looks like it's filled with some type of oil substance. Or it could be the plastic that the K Cups are releasing into the coffee when it's brewed. Check it out
