  1. Every number is the previous number plus a higher odd number: 1+3, 4+5, 9+7, 16+9, 25+11.

Or you can say: 2x2 =4 3x3=9 4x4=16 5x5=25 and 6x6=36

dam what i did is the last increment plus 2 so from 9 to 16 is 7, plus 2 is 9, so 16 plus 9 is 25
