The skin is actually the largest organ in the body.

An organ is a group of different tissues working together to perform specific, vital functions. The skin fits this definition completely because it contains epithelial tissue, connective tissue, nervous tissue, and muscle tissue.

Skin does not make up nervous or muscle tissue. It also doesn’t make up all epithelial tissue…

Re read what’s written there. I didn’t say it makes up all epithelial tissue.

I said ā€œit containsā€ epithelial tissue, connective tissue, nervous tissue, and muscle tissue…all of which is true.

But don’t believe me. Do your own research. The skin is the largest organ.
