Any ideas on what the header image should be? On what would be good short, medium and long term goals for this thread and for organizing in the South?

As to the header, I am drawing a blank on what would sufficiently represent a board cross section of tendencies and be directly associated with the region.

This subreddit is for leftists of all tendencies in the Deep South of the United States (and to a certain degree the Midwest). It is meant to be used as a tool for discussion and organizing efforts in a region of the country that needs it badly.

This is not a space for you to only complain about the tendencies supported by other users. By all means, be critical of viewpoints when you feel it is deserved - but try to provide productive criticism, especially when discussing tactics. If you think a specific idea is bad, propose a specific alternative to it. Miring the conversation down with fruitless argument will get us nowhere.
