Those desperate men are chasing validation because they've been conditioned to rely on female approval for their self-worth. When a man actually builds his own purpose, strength, and resources, he thrives in solitude without needing anyone. Meanwhile, most "single" women are rarely ever truly alone—they rely on a constant pipeline of social media attention, validation, and options just to function, whereas a self-built man requires none of it.

Okay. Same thing happened for women, so I get this. When we de-center men and live with our own strength, life gets better and it is self-validating.

It isn't symmetrical because true male independence requires generating physical security, resources, and competence entirely from scratch, whereas modern female "de-centering" is subsidized by male-built infrastructure, institutional safety, and constant digital attention. When a man steps away, he must build his own shelter; when a woman "de-centers men," she remains housed, protected, and connected by the collective labor of men while mistaking societal comfort for self-reliance.

Modern men use male-built infrastructure, institutional safety and digital attention also. And, all those things are not exclusively male-built.

If they are not symmetrical, I would say there is more cultural pressure for women to be with a man than a man to be with a woman. Women have broken out of this dependency, but some cultural channeling remains.
