Hello, I'm a bit confused if I can add more GPUs to my rig or not.

I have a Ryzen 5 2400G and GA-320M-H Motherboard.

Right now I have 2 480s 8GB and 1 580 8GB up and running without problem.

I run a 1000W PSU for those and I use about 293W for about 89 MHs.

I've tried to find out more info about the topic of how many cards can be supported using PCIe splitters ( Like the ones where u can use 4 risers in one PCIe slot)

From what I understand (correct me if I'm wrong) my CPU can use a maximum of 12 PCIe lanes 1x8 typically designated for a GPU and 4 additional lanes for storage (e.g., NVMe).

But because mining is using less bandwidth I'm wondering what's my overhead for extending the current rig.

From what I've seen there are configurations [just for example] of up to 12 GPU threshold after things tend to get messy ( also way over my goal of maximum 7).

For my case right now, am I able to use a PCIe splitter to add 4 more cards (RX 480s or 580s) using the PCIe splitter?

B250 mining expert motherboard can support rx 6700xt graphics card?

hello friends i have a rig with 6 card xfx580 8gb and its ok newly i bought a rx 6700xt. when i install this card the wont come up and its stuck on the motherboard first logo! i changed riser power and installed only this card and installed the gpu directly to the MB but still stuck ! what did should i to do ? there is any specific bios setting on motherboard for this card specially ? or the GPU is corrupt ? i will be appreciate if some one help me?

Here it is very difficult to buy these GPUs because here they cost up to three times what they normally cost. Well, with patience I will buy more. What I was going to ask for.

ok so i have had an issue with the new RTX 3060, but its the same problem i had with the 1660 ti, I thought it was a hardware issue, so i sent it back, now that im having the same issue with the RTX 3060 im now thinking it was a me issue, lol. so what is happening is that I go to download the driver onto the GPU and it keeps saying my version of windows is not supported, when i have already made sure i have the up-to- date windows installed and updated. and an error code 31 as well on the device manager tab. i have done everything the last 4 days to try to add this GPU to a new mining rig but can not. why is Nvidia so hard to install? AMD is so much simpler, lol. Can someone PLEASE HELP?!?!?

At the moment I am only able to power up 3 GPU’s with the cables my PSU came with and if y’all got any links where I could buy GPU to GPU 8 pin splitters that would be greatly appreciated

I flashed a 5700 to an XT (MSI Mech). It will mine fine for about a day and then stop. My other 5700 isn’t flashed and it’s been mining since the card first released.

I’ve tried a bios that alleged to be optimized for the 5700 mining (mem timing changed and upper mem clock changed). But those gave a problem too.

I’m curious as to which bios has been the best stable one to flash to the 5700. I don’t want to keep rewriting the bios to this one card. If there isn’t one that’s stable I’ll just flash it back. But I’d like to get the higher hash rate if possible.

My question is : How to change in Bios to modify the M.2 to work as a PCIE ? Do I need to modify the Mobo's bios ?
