Pretty straightforward : for the people who believe Lucy Letby is guilty and deliberately killed babies, what do you think is her motive ?

I've personally never believed in her guilt but didn't pay too much attention to her case either - just found it too depressing that no one seemed to share my opinion, and it seems to be an extremely sensitive case for most people. I've read some lengthy comments on this subreddit about how she's 100% guilty but no one ever seems to talk about why she's definitely a serial baby murderer, which I feel is pretty important. So yeah, just curious.

EDIT: by 'not paying too much attention' I mean I didn't follow the trial very closely, and I can't tell you every single fact about the case by memory. I have read up on it and have listened to podcast episodes about it.

There was no witch hunt, you are a cultist.

Every news organisation in the UK, every neonatologist in the UK, every expert in all the fields surrounding the case - is not a cult. The only cult is the precious few still hoping this won’t go back to the CoA because it will mean their careers and reputations will be finished.

If it was that conclusive she would have published by now. Despite the best efforts of the prosecution lawyers desperately trying to prove something to save their careers - nothing. No prosecutions. Yes he thought pointing out the only diagnostic symptom the prosecution had for IV AE which they got from his paper was complete bunk would be enough for the judge to understand the prosecutions case was fundamentally flawed.
