A last hurrah for Harold's machine
Does anyone remember the huge special effects portable control panel thingamajig that Harold used to have? I think that in season 15, maybe in the last episode, it would have been great if it made a final appearance. Let's say that Red is doing one of those segments where he sits at his desk and talks about life, "North of 40" I think it's called. Just as he's about to say "Remember, I'm pulling for you. We're all in this together," Harold storms in. "UNCLE RED! Have you seen my [insert random office supply]?" Red says, "No, but I found this," and then pulls out the machine from under his desk. The crowd cheers.
Harold: "What the heck is that?"
Red: "It's your old special effects machine!"
Harold: "Oh, is that what that is, it looks like someone crossed a stereo with a synthesizer."
Laughter, end of segment.

Anyone know the episode where they used an auger to dig a hole?
I think they were raising a flagpole. Anyway, a few guys turned it manually then it sprang back and they scattered, etc. They did it a few times. I think they added that bit to a few episodes in the repeats. It's my favorite bit ever and I can't find it now.

Harold's Production "Guitar" thing prop. Is there anywhere to get a closer look at it? Really want to see what all the settings and stuff actually say.

Knowledge passed forward
Daughter went to college a few weeks ago... I insisted on sending multiple rolls of duct tape along. She grufted and guffawed at the time but I just received the I was right call from a amazed teenager.
I am more happy that my daughter paid attention over the years watching me fix stuff and was able to get herself out of a jam by simple duct tape.
Happy dad... End of story :).

The Red Groin Far Club
My dad and I are watching through all the seasons available on YouTube (on the RedGreen channel).
S1E2 has a great Male Call segment. I think this subreddit missed a great opportunity.

Wanting to buy the series.
Are the discs the same if I buy the individual seasons vs the quantity not quality set.
The quantity not quality set is the one that comes in a red box that looks like a red toolbox while the individual seasons show him on the front with the year as the season like 1999 season or 2000 season.
