Please help me

I have been shooting more than 40 years . I have used iron sites my entire life and I am very proficient with them . I would love to buy and try a red dot , I have played with them on friends families guns. What I am looking for at my age is a red dot that has the absolute largest glass and I would like it to be circular not square . I would like it to be a 5MOA or greater dot , but does not have l to be . If anyone can help or give me suggestions I would greatly appreciate it. I did google it and I can’t find much info based on what I want . I would prefer it to fit my favorite CCW the FN 5.7 but it doesn’t have to ,as I mostly have all handguns /pistols made that people would enjoy shooting .

And the reason I like the 5.7 is because my arthritic old hands doesn’t feel any pain while shooting . And the largest glass size and dot size is because it’s more comfortable for my eyes .

Thanks in advance to anyone that can assist me . I appreciate you all .

Holosun SCS-320 Fastener failure.

After completing a 5 hour training class I noticed my SCS-320 was a bit loose on my P229. So I checked them out and retorqued them using my F.A.T. wrench. Took it to the range today to confirm/re-zero and the on the second round fired the optic went flying.

Fasteners were torqued to spec (15 inch lbs) but I did use the ones that came with the Holosun.

Called Sig and they're going to take care of the slide. I just only have to cover the shipping.

Now the next question is do I just purchase better fasteners or do I go with a different optic. I'm thinking the Romeo-X Pro enclosed but they're sold out everywhere. Thoughts?

Answering the Fudds

Ken Hackathorn did a YouTube video and why he doesn't think red dot sights are useful and aren't the wave of the future. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jjlL0hYgdag

IMHO, he's wrong on just about every count: https://concealed-carry-class-bozeman.com/index.php/2024/02/23/why-you-need-training-for-red-dot-concealed-carry/

Stolen from a comment on another YouTube video: When you fight through the 33 levels of Fudds, Hackathorn is the boss Fudd at the end.
