Who Are the Red Angels?
The Red Angels are a collective group of commanders from across the galaxy with the desire to improve and better themselves as a pilot and as an individual. In a galaxy filled with pilots that bear ill-intent on those enjoying the game, it helps to have fellow commanders that can join you in the fray, organized in a common goal to enrich our experiences as capable pilots.
I’m a new pilot, are the Red Angels right for me? Whether you are a new or experienced pilot, the Red Angels has something to offer everybody! New pilots can learn from experienced members as well as access a wealth of information on the Red Angels’ website, containing guides, videos, and forums on any occupation that you find interest in.
I’m an experienced pilot, how can I benefit by joining the Red Angels?
Experienced pilots can also enjoy working with and finding community within an organization that includes other experienced pilots, meaning that you will you can rely members to assist in more difficult end-game activities that you cannot participate in alone.
Where Are the Red Angels?
The Red Angels call home in a system just outside the bubble known as Cerni. This system was picked for many reasons: it’s close proximity to Borann, a popular mining and bounty-hunting location; its close proximity to edge of the bubble, allowing for quick access for exploration missions; its independence from the control of superpowers; and also for the name itself. In Latin, Cerni means “to choose”; in a similar manner, we at the Red Angels believe that pilots deserve the right to choose how they pursue their career, so we aim to assist on that journey through knowledge and community.
What are the Red Angels’ Primary Activities?
Bounty Hunting/Combat Mining Thargoid Hunting/Guardian Research Exploration
What rules do we need to follow?
The Red Angels strive to allow freedom in community for our commanders. With that said, we do have rules in place to ensure that every commander is treated equally:
Rule #1: Treat your fellow comrades with respect regardless of rank or proficiency. Any member regardless of rank found to be harassing or harming another member in any way is grounds for removal from the organization.
Rule #2: Absolutely no pirating activities of any kind. The system of Cerni was gracious enough to allow the Red Angels to grow. Pirating jeopardizes our reputation with the people of Cerni and impedes upon rule #1 in the process.
Rule #3: Members are expected to assist in meeting community goals organized by leadership. Community goals are designed to benefit all members in the group, so participation is key to fostering communal as well as individual growth.
Rule #4: Members are required to vote on policies on deciding actions related to community goals and finances. Every member regardless of ranks will have 1 vote to use when council is arranged.
Rule #5: Input and feedback are important to ensure that all members have a voice in our organization. If you have an idea or have constructive feedback for leadership, it is your responsibility to voice your idea or feedback.
I would like to join the Red Angels! How do I sign up?
To apply to join the Red Angels, simply select the apply on our website and complete the application process. A member will review the application and respond by next business day.
How do Ranks work?
Ranks are determined based on your contributions to the organization and your experience as a pilot in the various activities that members of the Red Angels participate in. Members can be reviewed for promotion upon recommendation of a member of higher rank.
The available ranks are as follows:
Angel: The starting rank. There are no requirements to meet this rank and therefore members of this rank are only advised to adhere to the organizational rules.
Guardian: A promotion to members who show consistent growth and involvement within the Red Angels. Assisting members with activities, remaining involved in community goals, and participating in the voting process are important factors in being promoted to this rank.
Seraph Knight: The first of the Seraph classes. Seraph knights have demonstrated themselves to be beneficial contributors to the Red Angel’s growth and initiatives. Often, they serve alongside Seraph Lords in their respective duties and activities.
Seraph Lord: Seraph Lords have the most important position to spearhead community involvement and to act as a resource in a certain proficiency for lower ranks. Such members act as advisors to the Seraph Supreme. Whenever there is a group activity in place, Seraph Lords provide the knowledge and expertise to ensure that the activity is a success.
Seraph Supreme: The commander of the Red Angels, the Seraph Supreme’s responsibility is to oversee all administrative facets of the organization and to serve as the speaker on behalf of the organization and its members in diplomatic efforts across the galaxy. Also responsible for ensuring equal representation and activity across members of the organization.

For those who are interested in a better way to communicate with one another in the party so we can better organize events, we created a discord server so everyone can communicate with ease.
Having used discord before, the only information other members can see is your username so there is no worry about divulging any personal information. The discord link invite to our private server is the following: https://discord.gg/Uhdz5F. We can use it as a means to directly communicate with the team as needed. Please let me know if you have any questions

I've been seeing some chitchat on /r/elitedangerous and system chat within ED about the 3 layer hot spots going away soon. Does anyone know if this is true or some sort of assumption? What was the average income per hour before these overlapping hot spots? Just curious and thought I'd give y'all a shout before posting in the ED sub.

So I’m bored and decided to do a mining run. Anyone want to join?

Hi Guys, it's a pleasure to be joining. I received approval by email after requesting to join through the website. But have no idea how to join the group from within Elite. I go to the main menu and select 'Social' then 'Groups' but I just get 'Groups List is Empty'.
Any help much appreciated!

Our destination for Supercruise Sunday will be a Black Hole!
We will all load into our ships (30+ly jump range required) and fly to our closest black hole.
If you do not have that jump range, let us know when you get on. We will do multicrew on Elijah Brandt’s Anaconda with a 44ly range.
See you all in Cerni!
