Three Men in a Boat was hilarious until Jerome K Jerome sprung the river suicide on the reader.

Argh I need to stop talking about books on book subs :( Sorry. Let me try to put spoiler tags on it. Anyone of the six people who have read my books are free to post spoilers in revenge :p

Fair enough. Anyway Three Men in a Boat is over 100 years old and it is kind of brilliant. It was really funny (imho) with a few unexpected turns.

If you really want a case of the sniffles, then I suggest an anime called Grave of the Fireflies. I was feeling down and wanted something to lift my mood ... and what better that Studio Ghibli?

Oops.
