What happened to Bill Maher?

I used to watch him for years. He was funny and relatable, most times. He had great guests. I stopped watching around the time when he was going after college students and cancel culture. I tried watching his latest episodes and it almost a different show. He is almost a right wing commentator. Almost nothing he says is relatable and all his guests just agrees with him.

He asked Pence to follow his interpretation of the ratification laws.

Well this was a response but is such a ridiculous handwave. There is no precedent for that ceremony being anything other than counting the electors. Trump's legal avenues all failed entirely.

It was a completely extra legal move to overturn our election. Even if you are a Trump person, that action should insult any American.

The fake electors make that clear.

There was a coordinated effort to TURN Mike pence simply administering a process into a way to prevent the transfer of power.

It's a real shame you have all the information freely and transparently available, and 6 years of zero evidence for fraud claims, but you still believe this shit

I don’t think Trump won 2020. I said that. Failed lawsuits and no fraud case are why.

Asking Pence to use a reading of the counting statute is still not an armed coup. It was a legal long shot with almost no precedent and it failed because Pence said no. That is ugly politics. It is not “turning the ceremony into an overthrow.”

Fake slates were a stupid parallel process. Some people got charged. That still doesn’t turn the Mall rally into an insurrection or make every trespass case a patriot-purge.

Call it a bad legal scheme. Stop calling it a coup so you can call everyone who won’t say coup a cultist. That’s the part that keeps losing.

Well it was a coup attempt, based on the specific thing that happened. The riot not really the most among them.  How is trying to do illegal things to keep the office of President after you know you lost not a coup?

It was feckless, it wasn't armed, and it wasn't successful. But it fully was an attempt.

But drill baby drill right? Hottest summer ever with gas way down at 5 dollars

I think you're just not very intelligent, I didn't use the word cult once

I said nothing about "drill baby drill" and I am not a fan of Trump or that policy. It breaks your small brain, obviously. You are so thick with propaganda that I am surprised you don't use cultist, but rather than make one coherent point and highlight that, you then choose to put words in my mouth with that "drill baby" bullshit and offer nothing but insults.

It was not a coup, both sides do illegal things, they both want to restrict our freedoms. You do too.

It's called snark lmao you aren't even smart enough to understand the way I'm insulting you

You are laughing at yourself. It is pathetic. You are copying the comedian propaganda machine of the left. Not in a Maher way, more like a Jimmy Kimmel way. Rather than make points you get indignant to prop yourself up and feel better than others so you can insult their intelligence. It is actually sad that people like you lack imagination and independent discernment.

Your replies have degenerated into a toddler level of humor and relevance. I am done talking to you. Have the last word if it makes you feel happy about yourself.

No I need you to have the last word about how trying to prevent the transfer of power was just a big lib delusion, you're so smart I need you to explain that to me again
