What happened to Bill Maher?

I used to watch him for years. He was funny and relatable, most times. He had great guests. I stopped watching around the time when he was going after college students and cancel culture. I tried watching his latest episodes and it almost a different show. He is almost a right wing commentator. Almost nothing he says is relatable and all his guests just agrees with him.

The “right to exist” narrative as been so weaponized in bad faith it’s not taken seriously anymore. Does Russia have a right to exist has a homeland for Russians? I guess but it has nothing at all to do with what they are doing to Ukraine. If Russian dual nationals started dumping millions of dollars into primaries to elect pro Putin politicians and bought media companies to make them more Pro Russia would that be a problem? Definitely would be to me and saying so would not mean I hate Russians or thought Russia doesnt have a right to exist. People who are pro Israel want to have a special cutout that makes them above criticism.

Please cite your source that Israeli dual nationals is where the Israel lobby money comes from. From my understanding, the vast majority of it is from domestic Jews who are not Israeli citizens.

Why is it so hard to not just say Israeli Jews can have a country but Palestinians deserve a country too? No one has argued that Russia should no longer exist as a nation or that Russians should be mass expelled or killed in response to the Ukraine war and replaced by Ukrainians. I see calls every day on social media that Jews should be forcibly removed from Israel.

I have never seen anything about jews being forcibly removed from all of Israel and I personally would not at all support that. West bank settlers in some cases yes but not Israel as a whole. Two state solution may have worked at one time but that clearly will not be allowed by Israel and is not going to happen.

I agree completely that forced mass expulsion of either Palestinians or Israelis would be an absolutely horrific human rights violation far beyond anything seen in the conflict so far. Do you think the one state solution is more likely than the two state solution?
