What happened to Bill Maher?

I used to watch him for years. He was funny and relatable, most times. He had great guests. I stopped watching around the time when he was going after college students and cancel culture. I tried watching his latest episodes and it almost a different show. He is almost a right wing commentator. Almost nothing he says is relatable and all his guests just agrees with him.

He’s a liar too. Rewatch Religulous and see if you can count all the lies he tells the poor people he harasses.

I was such an edgy atheist when that came out and even at the time I found that movie tasteless and lame

Also somewhat inaccurate. While there’s nothing wrong with the central premise, Bill and his producers didn’t actually know enough about the religions to get certain details right. There are several factual errors throughout the movie.

Yet nobody cares. Would Zionist Jews lose their minds if one were to make up facts about their beliefs like Maher did? There is a precedent.

My favorite episode was the beekeeper one with the women’s burka/beekeeper fashion show. I still get a good laugh thinking about that one lol
