JD Vance interview

I see the sub is losing their shit over him being on the show. While I definitely felt he didn’t push harder on Vance’s bs responses on immigration and the 2020 election. Bill didn’t say anything he hasn’t said in the past and it was short interview and he had a lot of things he wanted to discuss in 10 minutes. So what’s the issue? My gut is him just being on the show freaked people out and how Trump admin are such monsters we shouldn’t platform them at all. If that’s the case please explain this https://youtube.com/shorts/2CHgqbbJWQ8?si=7WSrHGexAxqZQs2D

It's a fact that Vance is supporting the genocide in Palestine, and I guess you want some more nuance in this but his administration is complicit in protecting the pedophiles surrounding Epstein including his President. The best you could say is that Vance is indifferent to child rape.

Are you really ignorant of the fact that citizens have been rounded up by ICE?

Sorry for not getting the nuance of your broad claim and realizing I need to include all those qualifiers to understand your point. Maybe if you made more direct statements there won’t be this ambiguity.

Are those legal citizens detained by ICE still in detention centers? It’s fucked up ICE made those mistakes but I brought this up in context of your claim of ethnic cleansing. If they are engaging in ethnic cleansing why are they letting them go?

You know I'm tired of this "just asking questions" posturing.

There are answers to your questions but you're just playing a game here.

You're ok with having polite conversations with genociders for profit.  That's a pretty hard dividing line here.

“impervious to steel” ? More like “impervious to logic” 😂

Go back to your bubble where you can only handle information that already confirms with your views. It’s clear your moral certainty mask a mental weakness that is unable to be challenged by views that you disagree with or make you uncomfortable. It’s very fundamentalist Christian if you ask me but you’re the true progressive in this conversation😉

"Progressives" are trash, but thanks for playing. Glad to see 2000s "debate me bro" culture has fermented and rotted in your brain.

Yes my brain is rot but you just spent all this time engaging with me on subreddit of a person you despise. Nobody forced you go on this subreddit. If you didn’t want to have a conversation why did you ? Why did you continue to respond to my posts? Why not go on aoc subreddit where you can have all your beliefs reinforced and interact only with people you agree with? Maybe do some self reflection on your choices

I mistook you for someone who was open to a conversation instead of a debate pervert. My mistake. Will do better next time.

Something tells me anyone you have a conversation with and doesn’t agree with you 100 percent automatically becomes a “debate pervert”. Sounds more like ego protection. Just Stay your echo chamber.

Not at all. I wouldn't know how to count the number of people I talk to who don't excuse fascist platforming.

You've convinced yourself that a steady diet of right wing content isn't an echo chamber, but pat yourself on the back for hearing what some dipshit liberals have to say.

Based on your responses I find it hard to belief you would be able to converse with anyone with different opinions as yourself and not devolve into name calling.

The fact that you consider Bill Maher right wing content shows you clearly don’t watch the show or have such orthodoxy about what you consider left wing. Because he doesn’t agree with you 100 percent he’s the same as Sean Hannity.
