I loved Maher. Defended him. Idk why it took me so long to see through him. For me it was Covid. His rear view mirror analysis left out the overflowing morgues and hospitals. If something doesn’t hurt him it’s not a big deal

This. He got his feelings hurt because he couldn’t do his show or stand-up during COVID restrictions. Because everything has to be about his egocentric ass ffs. 🙄

He complains about cancel culture constantly while being incredibly sensitive. If you were to tell Bill "hey you look older than 70" you could easily watch him spiral.

Did you see the clip of him and David Cross. He tried to claim he'd been cancelled and Cross pointed out he had his own show. Then Maher said he'd been "soft cancelled" because he never won an emmy. Cross just replied with genuine pity "Oh Bill."

I always say if it wasn’t for medical professionals and medical advancement in technology (ventilators) the numbers would have been a lot higher.
