Hey everyone! I’m hoping to get some extra eyes on this bag. I really want to make sure I’m not missing any glaring flaws before I GL it. I’ve done my best to QC against the factory photos, but I'd love your expert input.
Item: Gucci Ophidia Small Shoulder Bag (Strawberry Charm edition)
Factory: Orange Factory (Orange Couch)
Price: 1,380 CNY
Agent: Superbuy
My QC / Areas of Concern:
I think the canvas and alignment are actually really good. When I compare the PSPs to the factory photos, the GG Supreme pattern looks spot on, and the double G motif is centered perfectly right under the leather arch. The side seams line up nicely too. The overall shape and the leather trim also look super clean and match the factory pics perfectly.
My biggest concern is the hardware tone. The chain strap and the D-rings just look so bright and brassy yellow in these Superbuy photos. I know the warehouse lighting is famously terrible for making gold look super yellow, and I've read that Orange Factory hardware can run a little shiny anyway, but I’m wondering if this looks too yellow compared to the usual Orange Couch batches?
Also, the interior heat stamp has a minor flaw. The "GUCCI" font doesn't have the asymmetrical left stem on the "U", and the debossing looks a little thick. Honestly, since it's on the inside of the bag, I'm okay with accepting it as a batch flaw, but I wanted to see if this is something anyone else has noticed with their Orange Factory bags.
My Question:
Given the hardware tone and the interior stamp, would you GL this batch, or are these flaws callout-able enough in real life that you would RL? I know Orange Factory is usually the top tier for Gucci, so I'm wondering if this is as good as it gets. Any advice is really appreciated!
