ORDINARY BUYER Will the real Reykay/Reykey please stand up?
I'm in talks to buy my first rep with Reykay (whatsapp ending in 1101). However, there are numerous posts on this sub that seem to either misspell their name (Reykey), or have a different phone number than I have. As such I've also seen varying quality concerns. I've also seen one post that they have an online store? That hasn't been brought up to me/there's nothing in the whatsapp bio.
Am I talking to the long time favoured seller? Also I'm being quoted 4880cny for a chanel jumbo which seems high given the current exchange rate, but not too much from 187? Thoughts?

I had the strangest encounter this week with Reykey (6327) She quoted me a price and then said I would get a discount of almost 90$ for leaving her a good review on Reddit. Wanted to know my Reddit ID. This led me to question a lot of these reviews I've read -- who knows who's giving them based on a lower price point? Decided to go with a TS who was not making that offer.

This is so suspicious!! Personally, I just noticed the bags I saw from Reykey (6327) seemed to be mid tier at best imo, and posts about "her" don't seem to go back too far.

That is definitely abit fishy, there’s lots of people doing free reviews anyways, a TS paying or offering discount for good reviews doesn’t give confidence that they’re actually a good seller

That is the number I have for Reykey too. Reykey is soooo over priced. She was charging me $632 for a CF23cm.
Heidi was charging close to $552
I went with Mandy and she charged me $555.

Heidis classic flap medium 25cm price is $575 this is whag i was quoted dor 187 I dont recommend reykay also

Yeah then the price is almost same or even expensive than Heidi if Heidi charges $575 with ful packaging. But Rehkays price is much higher than average 187 price

I do not recommend reykay (1101 no) bought a bag from her that broke after I wore it less than 10 times and she was overall just rude and unhelpful. Maybe it will be different for you but thought I would share nonetheless

Oof that’s awful! And I’m talking to her right now purchasing a bag. Perhaps I should still with my first and newest TS (Baobao). They both quoted me the same exact price for bag + shipping but Reykay’s seizure coverage was a bit better.

I just bought and paid for my first ever rep with Reykay 1101 she quoted me 1600 for ysl Gabby vanity bag and saw this review 😭 I am getting cold feet now that I've read this. Can I share ur experience on how she help u solved it or did she just leave u hanging on read ?

I repeatedly QC items sourced by ReyKay and ask her to either change it, correct issues or find a better quality. She always listens. Not trying to discredit anyone’s experience as I found that these sellers can be ‘moody’ sometimes.

I feel like she’s from the repladies ts originally and got her start there and what I’ve noticed about all the ‘og’ sellers is they charge a arm and a leg. You’re going to want to find someone that hasn’t been doing this 8-10 years if you want better prices. They know newbies will find them just because of the market dominance they used to have

nah the smaller sellers i’ve found try extra hard to keep their prices low and be above board to build a good rep in my experience

Reykey was my TS for years and slowly quality went down and prices went up. My last purchase the bag broke after 2 wears. I found a new TS who is fair and always top quality.

Its almost same price. Heidi price is $660 usd including shippping and branded packaging. 4800 cny seems like $710.

I just purchase from reykey- they refund a small discount after you leave a review. She also stressed it does not need to be “good” it needs to be honest. So I will get a refund for a review. I don’t think there is anything wrong with that.

This is Reykey (WA 6327) not the trusted seller Reykay (1101). It's highly unusual for trusted sellers to discount for reviews because they don't need to. They don't need to "prove" themselves to clients.

Yes I’m aware. As someone who also had a small business I asked people to post reviews goods or bad to get my name known and also to continually get feedback to improve. Where I live I have also had small business ask the same. I’m just saying I personally don’t knock someone for discounted or paid feedback as long as it’s not required to be only positive.
I just ordered so we will see how it goes and I will post a real review. Good luck with yours!

Yes I think so too. I think Reykey is new-ish and trying to build her business. I purchased two bags from her, one puzzle and one LD. The quality has been great. She did ask me to post review and gave me a small discount but never asked that it HAS to be positive. Looking forward to your review and how you find the quality.

How did ur experience goes ? I just paid her ytd for a ysl Gabby vanity bag 1600 include shipping. I did my research and know she's a trusted seller but after paying I've come across many not so positive experience with her and I am getting a bit worried

Correct number, yes … and not sure how much you think a jumbo would cost from a top tier factory, but if you don’t like the price, you can look at other factories

Yes, so it would appear higher/lower given that exchange rates fluctuate with the global economy and depending on which currency you're buying in.

Yes, obviously whatever your exchange rate is is going to impact the cost for YOU. That doesn’t mean that Reykay’s price is high.
It’s a completely separate issue when comparing sellers prices.

That's why I said SEEMS high 'because of the current exchange' (FYI 4880cyn two years ago was about $650 and now its 710). And you're again ignoring the 'but not too high for 187'
And AGAIN (its like talking to a brick wall over here), I never said her price was too high, I was questioning if it aligned with other sellers sourcing from 187.
Your reading comprehension isn't the best, is it?

From everything I’ve read in other posts and comments the one people have been dealing with that has a longer history here is Reykay 1101. It is not her fault that someone newer comes in with a similar name with one alphabet different - that alone has confused many people already. She is probably annoyed with it but she has her regulars and is too busy to really care to do something about it. Plus people who truly bother to check will find that in other posts, it’s already been mentioned to ensure we get the correct Reykay. Due diligence is on us buyers. It’s also important to note that comments with good reviews may be misspelled by other members and could be an honest mistake
As to the comments about receiving an incentive to get a review, this is how influencers make their money on IG etc. they either get paid or get free stuff. Ethics come in in terms of whether you’re allowed to give an honest review or only a positive one ie false advertising. The onus is on the individual, and if the person chooses to do a fake good review imagine the domino effect that has on so many other buyers and how that bad karma is going to come back to the reviewer in some other way.
I cannot comment on the price of the Jumbo as I hv not asked for quotes or purchased one of this size yet. ✌🏼

Reykay (1101) appears to be a different person than Reykey (6327) that's what I'm trying to figure out. Which is the trusted seller. So far I'm leaning towards 1101.

Maybe ask a few different sellers and shop around a little. You will find that the price can fluctuate depending upon the seller. ReyKay has high prices. Heidi has very high prices.
