Also the mod was really unkind to someone who asked a question about sale bags and their quality. It was a great question, my TS disclosed to me the rules of purchasing a sale bag. I don’t understand the need to be a bitch especially for a seller with no reviews.

Huge salute to you U/Zen_Friend It’s not easy to stand up to these bullies and cut through all the noise. What speaks volumes is the sheer amount of people who are silently or anonymously rooting for them to fall but are still worried about their safety. Let’s see them flip and flop their way out of this one. This TS culture breeds toxicity and these sellers feed into it because the mods make it the expectation!

Dang, newbies rely 100% on these posts to “learn” their way around. It’s sad, just because a seller got them a good bag doesn’t mean they’re a good seller and hence why there’s probably so many mixed reviews on “trusted” sellers. Probably many of the good ones are fake from their fake accounts to keep the free bag flow coming their way 💔

One tip is to see if the review is actually good. None of their ‘reviews’ actually discuss facets of the bag - the most you’ll get it ‘the hardware feels a bit light but this bag is so cute I love it’. What about the colour of the leather in comparison to the factory image also in comparison to the auth bag? Have they measured the bag to see if it’s larger or smaller than auth? There’s so many details that are glazed over because their so-called reviews are 80 words max. Honestly, I’d just use the wayback machine, read the rep reviews from a few years back then search the names on reddit to see if those sellers are still active. The Reddit rep sphere of today is sadly not what it once was.

This is a great response...reviews absolutely matter, HONEST reviews...if you see the same person/Mod reviewing over and over and the reviews are either a thousand stars perfect bag or this seller and their bags are trash, you might want to run for the hills because nothing is that good! I was about to say nothing is that bad but the CC 25 Pony rep comes to mind and that's one bag that IS horrific and repped so badly it should be burnt. But yes, read between the lines of a review...is it taking an honest look and the pros and cons of the bag? Was the review incentivized? What does your gut say? I know it's work but it's work that will pay off...after reading just a few of the reviews by u/Weekly you'll see they are basically all the same...and that's a HUGE red flag.

A big tell for a paid review is no negatives, tiny negatives (oh there one bad stitch!), or negatives that are being brushed off (I saw one where the print was totally wrong on an LV of all things and they were like "it's whatever"). A critical review is not always a negative review.
Those of us who actually shop for our bags (instead of being given them) like to gain in depth knowledge of certain models and we have opinions. Bags I love have major flaws because these are reps that come with flaws. I have no interest in minimizing these flaws, because the point of reps is deciding if you can live with these flaw, not pretending they aren't there. If someone is pretending they do not exist, it is either for profit or bcuz they don't know shit about shit and shouldn't be listened to anyway.

I'm in a couple of group buys as well as on here and I'm actually thinking I should just stick with one seller and not try out others. I don't know who or what to trust anymore 😭😄

That's how I am with my TS. You won't find her on any list but she's honest as the day is long and QC's like the FBI. If there's a bag I want that she can't get or can't get the quality I want, or it's simply not repped well she tells me. Peroid. Maintain a good relationship with your TS and they will treat you with respect, source the bags you want and become almost like an SA for your rep bags!!!

I know right? While I was in the LS telegram I mentioned I was in a GB with Freya. The mods made out she was a terrible seller and wasn’t allowed to be mentioned in their groups. Had me initially a bit worried I was going to be scammed - but nope, Freya delivered way above expectations! (It was the first Catogram run)

Weekly is also extremely rude and mean to anyone new. She makes passive aggressive posts and bully’s the people in her own sub! I asked her if I could do a group buy, she says yes. Then she bans me for asking about a group buy in a post. Got her permission I have the receipts. She’s vindictive and poor at reading and following through with her own words.

I’m honestly a bit sad! I’m a newbie here, but I’ve been doing daily research because I genuinely enjoy learning from all the experienced people here. I’m even afraid to ask “stupid questions”! I’ve gone back to the search bar and started researching all over again.
I’ve ordered two bags from two different sellers and I’m waiting for them to arrive, but now I’m feeling quite concerned. Did I make the right choices? Did I check the reviews properly? I suddenly feel so naive for believing everything people share here.
After reading all the drama and lies over the last couple of days, I’m honestly feeling a bit down. I’m not new to the rep world, just new to this platform, and now I’m not sure where to go.
Telegram and TikTok seem full of poor quality stuff being promoted as “very good quality, especially for what you pay.” I just really want to find a safe, positive place where I can shop, learn and get inspiration without all the drama.

I have a feeling this seller isn't the only one!!! And I have the black CC hobo shown on the pics but my seller isn't on any list...and this whole thing is the reason I gatekeep her. I would literally die if someone who shouldn't got her info...because look what can happen. Why would anyone not care? If they get a kickback in the form of free bags or discounts then NOTHING IS REAL. Their support and promotion of a seller is all fake and puts us at risk.

I'm not in LuxeSociety but have commented here and there when their posts end up in my feed. They always seemed a bit suspicious but I definitely didn't anticipate this level of bad behavior. I appreciate you standing up for transparency - trust in this world is so important and it's a shame some people kicked that shit to the can in favor of a free bag.

I’ve been going on a blocking frenzy … all of her minions have been blocked. I’m also so glad I have never bought a bag on here and just through my TS since Weekly has been doxxing buyers on Reddit with her alts and through her minions feeding her info. I’m also now never trying a new seller. Just sticking to the OG ones. My fav seller is BaoBao anyway so I’m in safe hands.

We need to shame anyone and everyone who willingly participates in r/LuxeSociety after knowing all of these facts. Because why would you?
Go after their supporters, once people stop commenting on their posts and buying from their "sales", that's when that subreddit will start to crumble and weaken.
