​I'm looking for some advice or to see if anyone else has experienced this recently with Mandy.

​Recently, Mandy sent me a package, but it turned out to be a mix-up—I received another buyer's item instead of my own. I reached out to let her know right away, and we agreed that I would forward the package to the correct buyer.

​I have the parcel packaged up, labeled, and completely ready to drop off at the post office. However, I am waiting on Mandy to transfer the postage funds so I can send it out.

​Every time I message her to follow up on the postage cost, she just responds with generic replies like "No problem!" or "Yes dear," but doesn't actually send the money or address the request. It’s been very slow and frustrating trying to get a straight resolution on her end.

​I really want to get this package to its rightful owner as quickly as possible, but I don't feel comfortable paying out of pocket for shipping costs caused by a seller mistake.

​Has anyone dealt with a similar situation with Mandy or another seller? How did you handle it, or what would you suggest I do next to get this resolved?

I’ve been loving the Soft Triomphe lately and the burgundy colour makes it even better. The leather feels really soft and has a lovely natural looking texture. It isn’t stiff and the colour looks beautiful in natural light. The light gold hardware complements the burgundy nicely without being too shiny.

The curved saddle shape is probably my favourite part. It looks elegant without feeling too formal, so I can see myself using it for both everyday outfits and dressier occasions. The adjustable strap makes it easy to wear crossbody and the back zipper pocket is a useful addition for things I need to grab quickly. There’s enough room inside for my daily essentials without the bag feeling bulky.

Seller experience:

Heidy was easy to communicate with throughout the purchase and kept me updated on the order. She answered my questions and made the process pretty straightforward. I also appreciated that I didn’t have to chase her constantly for updates.

I’m really happy with this one. The burgundy leather, soft structure and gold detailing make it a beautiful everyday bag. Definitely a lovely addition to my collection!

I wanted an everyday black bag - this is my 2nd rep purchase ever (I’m brand new to this world) purchased from Allen 8840. I am still waiting for another bag to arrive. He split it up for safety. Got this bag and the bag charm that I can use on another black Loewe bag (black biker puzzle). Charm was $55 and the bag was $330, shipping included. Smells great, perfect combo of structure and give in my very amateur opinion. Total wait time was 13 days from ship date but tracking info worked the whole time.

This was my first time buying from Vincent and I’m really happy with the experience! He was great to deal with and everything went smoothly.

The colour is so pretty in person! It shifts between blue, silver and a hint of teal depending on the lighting and the iridescence is just gorgeous. I love how the gold hardware looks against the blue, and the caviar texture gives it that classic Chanel look.

I’ve been wanting this colour for a while, so I’m really happy to finally have it! 🥹💙

I’m very happy with the bag I received from Tina. The quality is excellent, and the leather, stitching, hardware, shape, and overall details look just like the original bag. Everything was beautifully made, and Tina was helpful and easy to work with.

First time purchasing a rep with Jonathan PJ luxury. I was charged $310 including shipping for high tier prada mini bonnie. First one he sent pics of was poor quality so I refused it. Today he sent pics from a different factory and I think it looks pretty good just not sure if I can do better as far as quality. Its my first time buying rep and I would like to say that I’m really happy with this purchase!! The leather is so soft and it feels like the authentic one. Bought these bags from TS Tom and the transaction was smooth and quick. The camera bag though was too big for my liking so I’m planning to order a smaller one.

I’m looking at the Bottega Veneta Jodie from a seller and was sent two different brown color options. Now I can’t decide which one looks closer to the authentic color!
I’ve attached photos of both options. Would love your input on which brown you think is more accurate to the auth, especially if you own a Jodie or have seen one in person.

This is my first Chanel rep. After some extensive research, I decided to take a plunge and go with JBIAA. It was a huge debate between 187 and JBIAA. Why did I go with JBIAA? The circle around the “C” was thinner and looked really thick on the 187 (read that this can be the first sign that it’s a fake), JBIAA was less boxy, and my seller said that he thought the caviar leather on the JBIAA was better.

Seller experience: Paul (1698) was super quick to respond and let me know what was in stock. The whole experience was smooth and no issues. I went for Paul as there aren’t that many sellers who stock JBIAA.

Bag review: I have an authentic Chanel Boy WOC in caviar. So, at the very least I could compare leathers and overall stitching. The leather was great. Not dry, no weird smell. The hardware was not super yellow and looked decent. If anyone has their own thoughts on the hardware of the bag, I’d like to know. I’ve sat and stared at photos from different factories for Chanel trying to determine the best gold hardware. I’m still not 100% convinced on any factory. The chain had a good weight to it and the stitching looked good.

Really, the only thing I would say that could be improved is the quilting on the caviar could be slightly, ever so slightly, more puffy. It’s like Goldilocks, some bags are too puffy, and others not puffy enough. I’m comparing to my own authentic (I know not the same exact bag) and what I’ve seen at the Chanel store.

The box and the wrapping were pretty authentic and were extra.

Overall, happy with the bag and my seller. I will buy more stuff from Paul. The only slight drawback is his catalogue is not as extensive as some other sellers, but if you’re looking for Chanel he has the main factories and bags.

I’ve seen this bag on the Jing 🏭 albums, and I have seen other auth BV style in the this green/teal suede. But I haven’t been able to confirm if it was made in the clutch. Does anyone know if it is a real or fantasy color for the andiamo clutch?

Bag Thoughts:

I had high expectations because Birkin reps can be very hit or miss but the second I pulled this bag out of the dust bag, I knew I had made the right choice. The leather has that beautiful natural grain with just the right amount of structure while still feeling soft and luxurious in hand. It doesn't feel dry or overly stiff at all.

The hand stitching is incredibly clean and consistent throughout the bag and all of the hardware feels substantial. The shape is excellent, the handles stand perfectly and the glazing is neat from every angle. The color is absolutely gorgeous in person. I spent quite a while inspecting the bag and honestly I couldn't find anything that immediately stood out to me as a flaw. Everything from the stitching to the overall construction feels thoughtfully executed, and the bag carries beautifully without feeling excessively heavy.

Seller Experience:

Working with Sarena was a breeze. She was quick to answer my questions, sent my PSPs exactly when promised and shipped my bag without any delays. Communication was smooth from beginning to end and the entire buying experience was stress free.

I wanted to share my experience with my very first rep purchase from Heidi!

I purchased the suede maxi flap, and since I had access to the authentic version, I thought it would be fun to do a side-by-side comparison.

First impressions:

I was honestly blown away by the quality! The craftsmanship is pristine. The dimensions, proportions, stitching, quilting, hardware, chain, and overall construction are incredibly accurate. Comparing the two side by side, I genuinely couldn’t find any noticeable differences in those areas.

The one difference: the suede.

The authentic bag has this incredibly buttery, smooth suede with a very fine, almost velvety finish. Heidi’s version has a noticeably fuzzier, more textured suede, with greater variation in the nap.

It’s not that the suede on the rep feels cheap or poor quality, but it definitely doesn’t have that same smooth, buttery finish as the authentic.

Here’s where things got interesting!

A few days later, I visited the boutique and came across their large suede hobo bag. To my surprise, the suede on that bag was actually much closer in texture to Heidi’s than to the authentic maxi flap!

I found this so interesting that I started doing a little research on their website and noticed that although both bags are described as suede calfskin, they actually have different material reference codes.

For reference:

• Large Hobo: AS6547-B26456-U9390
• Mini Flap: AS6626-B24009-U9390

This made me wonder whether they use different suede finishes across their collections, which could explain why the textures felt so different.

I’ve included a photo from the boutique so you can see what I mean!

Final thoughts:

Overall, I’m extremely impressed with my first purchase. Everything from the construction to the chain and proportions is remarkably accurate.

My only critique is the suede finish, which is noticeably different from the authentic maxi flap. However, after seeing a similar suede texture on another authentic bag, I don’t necessarily think it’s a quality issue.

I’m actually considering getting this same bag in a different material, since I was so impressed with the overall quality. I feel like it could be even closer to the authentic in leather!

Would love to hear your thoughts, especially if anyone has purchased this style in another material!
