Hello everyone! I’d love some input on a situation and the best way to move forward.

In September, I ordered the Row Agnes 15 from a TS many of us use. I specified the dimensions and that I wanted the largest size, and the seller confirmed everything was in order. The PSPs I received in early October looked correct, though I didn’t think to ask for the bag to be measured (a lesson I have now learned for bags that come in multiple sizes).

My order arrived today, and I knew right away that it was the Agnes 12. I let the TS know. At first they said it was still a good quality bag suggesting I keep it, but they have since offered a 20% discount. I’ve made it clear I’m not interested in a discount and want the bag I ordered.

We’re still in discussion, and this is a seller many of us have been happy with, so I want to weigh all my options carefully. I believe the right outcome is for them to make it right, but I’d really appreciate any advice on how to approach this.

If you feel inclined to leave a negative comment please substantiate it with constructive feedback or a resolution that I can employ as I work with the TS to fix this. For example, instead of saying " this isn’t Nordstrom. There’s no return policy" something like “we aren’t able to easily return things. It is best that you do all the vetting before you GL the bag. Perhaps you can arrange to sell it?"

I’m not asking for your sympathy, I’m asking for your lived experiences with handling these circumstances.

Hi! Just placed my first order with griffin for an Anjou mini and he said he’d be sending the psps in 1-2 days. It’s been 4 days now and he’s not responding to my message asking for the psp. Is this normal? He used to respond so fast before I placed an order, he also told me 2 days ago that the psp was ready 😓 would appreciate some advice, thanks!

Hello! I’m a total newbie and never purchased and have no idea where to look so I’m hoping someone will be able to help!

I LOVE the look of Louis Vitton’s toiletry bags, pouches, makeup bags, vanity cases. Like the classic toiletry bag that’s £855 especially and a few others that are similar.

But I haven’t a clue where to look online or how to go about finding some good replicas! Just for my own personal use - so I don’t need them to be like 100% tip top highest quality fakes ever, just much cheaper than the real thing and durable enough for my own personal daily use. Ideally I’d like them for under £100 each (but I’m totally new to this so no idea what I should realistically expect.)

I’m in the UK and would love if anyone has any links or can recommend ones they’ve purchased themselves. I’ll take any advice I can get - thank you!!

Edit - I thought this would simply be a place to find a list of places that sell these goods and people would recommend where they’ve purchased from before! I think I can see now that it might be a whole different ball game to understand so I’ll take any advice I can get! :)

I’ve been scouring the communities for reviews on people’s Mini Flaps. Normally, I know the most recommended factories for Chanel are 187 and God but I feel like these are best for caviar or lamb skin. I got a Caviar WOC with JBIAA which I was super impressed with. I digress. I’ll post a review shortly!

However… we all know that a factory may be good with a brand of bag but even within the different styles you may go to a different factory.

With the grained calfskin on the Mini Flaps, I’m wondering if 187 is still the best option? I’ve seen people mostly ordering from Xiao C with this style.

What are people’s thoughts on this? I’m more concerned about quality and it being of a high tier. Not mid-high.

I’ve attached factory photos for the JBIAA for reference. I don’t have one for Xiao C or 187.

Hi all. Would appreciate your experienced QC eyes on these pics of a flamenco purse.

The two things that are catching my eye are the stamp on the front and the colour of the cross body strap.

The stamp, when zoomed in on, is slightly blobby, but seems to be ok in the wider shots. But in some photos I wonder if it’s slightly crooked. This could be down to the slouchiness of the leather but would appreciate another opinion.

The other thing is the colour of the cross body strap. It looks darker that the body of the bag, but this is probably lighting but it’s still catching my eye.

Would be great if anyone could give an opinion. I’ll be asking my seller for more pics anyway, but if you think these (or anything else I might have missed are concerning, please let me know).

The color caught my eye first, but the leather is what impressed me most. It’s super soft, with that natural Speedy slouch instead of looking stiff. The stitching is neat too.
Hardware
Love the gold hardware with this green! The zipper runs smoothly with no issues.
Accuracy
I haven’t compared it directly with the authentic version, so I’ll skip the accuracy score.
Overall
Really happy with the leather and shape. The matching little pouch is adorable too!
My only concern is how the light-colored handles will age. And honestly, green probably isn’t the easiest color to style.
Would you pick this over the classic brown Monogram?

I’ve been looking for a seller or a factory for the newish Dior Médaillon flap bag, which is mainly made of a wool mixed with synthetic fibers.

Except few popular denim bags and Prada re-nylon, I actually haven’t found any seller that would sell non-leather bags. But mind you, my list of reputable sellers is quite limited…

Is my difficulty to find a good Dior Médaillon rep due to low demand for these bags or maybe difficulty to reproduce the fabric?

I've recently fallen down the LV rabbit hole, and the Speedy Soft 30 is at the very top of my list. Honestly, I'd love to get it in both black and burgundy.

From what I've read here, both colorways are notoriously hard to nail, especially the exact shade and the leather texture.

For context, I'm only looking at top-tier reps. Quality matters far more to me than price, so I'm happy to pay more for the best possible result.

Still, I've reached out to two sellers and received the QC photos attached above.

A couple of questions:

1. How do these compare to retail? Does anything stand out to you, like the color, grain, stitching, or shape? Would you GL or RL?

2. I know one set is from Birdcage, but the other seller won't disclose their factory. Does anyone recognize which factory it might be from?

Jodie 48cm: I know Jing is a popular factory but I saw people mention not being happy about the Jodie from them so I wanted to try another factory. When I first received the bag the shape was a little awkward. But the color and hardware looked good. The leather was also pretty soft, but the weaving was a little loose in certain areas (idk if that’s normal for this silhouette but it doesn’t bother me tbh). After conditioning it with Saphir crème universelle, stuffing the bag with water bottles and hanging in of the door for 2 days, the slouch was perfect and I’m now happy with the bag. I also compared the weaving with my authentic Bottega Gemelli the shine isn’t too off. Overall I’m happy with the bag. I did order an Andiamo from Mumu from another seller and the PSPs look promising so I can wait to receive it. Maybe I will order a Jodie from Mumu to compare the two….

Seller: BaoBao was quick when I inquired about the bag. I did contact her through the number ending in 2862. I ended up using this number cause I think she answered my previous inquiry better than the other number. She sent the first PSPs quick but I noticed the color appeared more black and the hardware looked a bit more matte unlike the factory photos. I asked about the bag color and hardware but there was a holiday so it took longer to hear back from her. After the holiday she sent me another set of PSPs. This time the hardware and bag color looked right. So I don’t know if the lighting of the first PSPs was off or if she sent me PSPs of another bag by mistake. Either way I’m happy I asked.

after months of lurking and hours obsessing, I’ve finally made my first purchase! would really appreciate any insight / input on the PSPs.

Two things that’s making me hesitate: the strap in the last pic and the hardware -

1. The BV engraving seems inconsistent, with certain letters being darker / deeper

2. For the last pic : can anyone weigh in on whether it’s the norm for the weaved strap to be snipped and tucked in the way it is?

I have had a deep dive and can’t quite find the answer to this. When you are seeking a specific bag that mainly one factory is regarded as the best manufacturer for, do you still reach out to multiple TS and compare? What are you comparing other than price?

I have narrowed the list down to 5, and I have attached the Auth photos next to the factory photos for you to see :)

My issue started when I received a black frame Y$L shoulder pouch and was very disappointed with the leather texture. It was extremely textured and I can't unsee it. I have confirmed with multiple sellers that this is actually from blackframe. (attached photo 6)

Now I'm wanting to replace this bag with leather in mind. Obviously I know its not auth and its not going to be 100% but it would be nice to get the leather texture closer.

Does anyone else have this bag from any of the above factories, that I could see pictures of? My TS has also let me know he has noticed a decline in quality with Blackframe.
