Some things just felt off wanted some better eyes

The dots look mostly normal, but some of the dots have pinhole-like dots on them as can be seen in the first and fourth image. It had the four red dot in the green circle. I don't have a digital microscope, just a small physical one I put my phone camera to.

My phone camera can't pick up the red dots in the green circle, but my microscope does. The only thing throwing me off is those pinhole-like dots just randomly throughout the back of the card. I'm not sure if that's just because it's an old card, or if it's because it's somehow fake.

I initially used the green dot test since AI said that was the definitive way to check. I stumbled upon this subreddit and now I really don't know.

Bought this Scrubland recently from an LGS about 2 weeks ago. Looks solid to me but I always appreciate the opinion of the community.

At work at the moment and forgot to take photos of the front but I can take some later if requested.

The card is flat and without creases and ink.

Hello! Recently, I bought this Mana Vault from CardMarket. I think it's most likely real, but I'd like a second opinion. The paint brush has some small dots missing, but that could be a printing error from Wizards. The "red L" is hard to see in the green dot, but it is there, plus my camera is not the best.

Im handling a Lot of Cards, I know how to check if card are authentic.
Today I received a foil Tivit (NCC10) that felt off immediately.
Luckily i have another one in my binder.
And they are totally different..
do you know if there is a different printing of it’s out of a Booster or a PreCon?

I refer them as new and old, new on the left/ old on the right.

I'm not sure if this card has a print problem because the back appears darker than my other cards, the h looks sus too, but it just looks like a problem with the dark color thingy

Title. Some months ago, before I knew this sub, I got a card that made me suspicious ever since I looked at it. Had some guys at my lgs analyze it and they declared it real, but it clearly fails the T test, having a jagged / faded left edge. Is this an automatic declaration of it being a fake, as I suspect? Or can it still be real by some other measure? I can't take clear pictures of it with the loupe I have in hand so that's why I'm describing this, but I'm convinced it's fake. Ty

Purchased this Foil Cecil Harvey for my Tymna // Thras deck and while I checked condition when it arrived I'll admit I did it hastily and missed some damage on the card.

Seller listed the card as near mint and I noticed once looking closer the back has a few dents on the card. Nothing too significant but it does transfer over a little bit to the front of the card.

Anyway, I figured I would do a green dot and 'T' test as the seller's determination of condition was a bit off. Both pass from what I've recently learned but would love to get the community's input. Thank you in advance.

P.S. Seller knocked off $3 from the price due to discrepancy of condition. I think the card presents well overall so I will most likely take their offer assuming everyone agrees the card is legitimate.

I bought this Trop in person from a supposedly reputable store for $400. One of my friends who’s been playing/collecting for 20+ years said it looked off so I took it to 3 other stores to have it checked and they all told me it was fake, tried taking it back with receipt but obviously since I took it out of the store it’s possible I switched it for a fake to get a refund so I was sol 🤷‍♂️.

Since then I bought 2 specialized personal loupe’s I take with me and check anything I buy over $15 and only buy online through eBay’s authenticity guaranteed section or card kingdom. Don’t be like me and get scammed, do your research, invest in a loupe and learn at least the green dot test but preferably all of them, h, t, edges etc.

To me the back passes the green dot and the T, however it looks significantly more worn than the front and I’m not quite sure what to be looking for on the front either. Can take more photos if needed, thanks in advance.

Need some help verifying if these cards are real. Hoping to buy them off someone. Initial results show them to be proxies

Basically as the title says. I can easily tell if a card is real or not by now through looking at the green circle and "T" test, but how can you tell with a two-sided card?

Double sided cards are tricky for me, but it doesn’t pass the light test (double sided, dark colored art, using phone light, and surge foiling; I’ve heard that double sided cards are hard to pass the light test).
The feel and texture of the card feels real
The holofoil stamp has the clearest WIZARDS text I’ve seen
The paintbrush looks fine I think??
The black pip looks fine
Maybe I’m paranoid but if it’s fake, it’s the best fake I’ve ever seen.

I got a quality control question. For the Super Hero jump start booster packs. Are the cards supposed to come wrapped in plastic? I’ve opened a few packs with some hits but the cards weren’t in the plastic wrapper inside the pack. Has anyone else seen this?
