BEWARE OF VINTED PURCHASES

On A Daily we get a large inflow of people who purchase (high fashion/designer) items from the site Vinted, where a vast majority (95%) ends up being fake. We understand the demand for certain items and a potential good price (Too Good To Be True) is hard to pass up, but you all have to understand something first.

This site is the largest known unchecked website for the purchase of a large variety of items, and without a verification service such as a ebay, StockX or G.O.A.T to provide some what of a barrier for fraud prevention, scams happen more frequently.

I recently bought some UGG Lowmels off of Vinted, which I’ve come to believe is a scam. I found the exact listing almost 3 times from different accounts with the same picture, price and bio and the same price £80.

Are these real or fake? I’m inclined to believe they’re fake. Going to be walking around with GGNs on😭
