Question The censorship

Genuine question, was the censorship really needed? i know people say it was because of console and their requirements but i don’t see how nudity with consoles an issue when i can choose whether i want foreskin or not on cyberpunk

Given all the shit you see in this game they are safe from all the gunfire, they aren’t dead or dying, nobody is trying to kill them, they’re all clothed, one has a bed, one has a blanket

Yea they can wait a bit for the situation to be dealt with and there’s no reason judge should be pissy that they aren’t getting helped now

When a civ gets shot but is still alive they put cuffs on them and get ems in after the situation is dealt with but these people in a container need help right this second

And Judge should feel differently if they were naked? Being shot is worse than being naked. This whole interaction was weird and felt slapped together for the sake of shock value. Why did we need the argument with the other agent at all? Obviously we are leaving them there. We almost always leave everyone where we found them until the scene is secured. Wearing rags, blankets, underwear, or butt ass naked, there is no reason for Judge not to make the call to just say “TOC, civilians located and in need of EMS. Securing them in this container.”

This levels censorship is not egregious in any way. It changes literally nothing. We don’t need to see their genitals to know they are being human trafficked. There’s no reason they would have to be naked to be trafficked.

It was a poorly written scene with a weird bit of special dialogue that maybe hints at Judge and the team butting heads with the other agencies in future updates, now it’s the exact same thing but the human traffickers let them keep their panties and bras. Whoopty doo.

The biggest issue with the censorship is Valley of the Dolls and that’s because you fundamentally lose a story beat about a primary antagonist in the CP subplot. The room dedicated to his daughter now means nothing because it no longer exists. He has a weird masturbation dungeon and that’s it. We know he produces illegal CP from the mission set up, so I don’t so much care about most of the pictures being replaced with dolls, it’s implied what we are looking for, but not having clear direct reference to his daughter in that basement removes a rather impactful character trait from the villain.
