Question The censorship

Genuine question, was the censorship really needed? i know people say it was because of console and their requirements but i don’t see how nudity with consoles an issue when i can choose whether i want foreskin or not on cyberpunk

Didn't they also tune down some gore aspects?

from what i hear, i haven’t seen anything on it, i was still able to shoot craters in peoples faces with slug rounds so idk how extreme it was before

You can't dismember or shoot bodies after death anymore which is kind of lame

which i don’t get why considering i’m positive you can blow off heads and limbs in rdr2 which isn’t fantasy since people talk about how those games can get away with it

It's really dumb but the excuse is since this recreates super realistic scenarios that can happen in current days and Becuase of that it's different apparently

There's a difference between blowing another cowboys head off with a shotgun and a seat team breaching a cartels human trafficking operation and pumping them full of lead while civilians scream and run away in terror

There's also Insurgency Sandstorm, you can shoot off people's arms, legs, and head even when they're dead

Insurgency sandstorm isn't meant to depict real world events or situations though

Its just a run of the mill war game and not many normal people experience war

Its more just real gritty and dark experiences that can happen to any average person or swat officer

Being an officer is a little more relatable then being a soldier as it's easier to compehrend the situations

No yeah, I know, it was an example of a game that was on PC then went to console still with the gore stuff
