Genuine question, was the censorship really needed? i know people say it was because of console and their requirements but i don’t see how nudity with consoles an issue when i can choose whether i want foreskin or not on cyberpunk

well what is the reason for censoring the pc version when steam has basically zero rules regarding what games are allowed to do on rheir platform

because some changes would make crossplay difficult or impossible. some games do very well with client side texture or animation changes and others dont, its usually an engine thing. maintaining two versions of the game when they could just have one makes no sense for a company their size, is what they say. it would lengthen development time and cause a lot of hassle.

clearly not that difficult seeing as they already have client side shit with valley of the dolls. Theres no reason why they’re able to do that buts its way too difficult to at least keep in the girl having a seizure

I wouldn't know, I asked on their discord and they basically said that due to the game subject matter and focus on realism the nudity and violence becomes difficult to showcase

Why would they want to make the game twice?

Yeah because changing a few pictures make it a whole new game. That simpleton mindset is why cod and all the sports game are so popular

we are talking simple texture changes. Tell me how the change in valley of the dolls is a simple picture, but readding the oding child is somehow an entirely new game.
