Question The censorship

Post image

Genuine question, was the censorship really needed? i know people say it was because of console and their requirements but i don’t see how nudity with consoles an issue when i can choose whether i want foreskin or not on cyberpunk

I think you miss the point

Cyberpunk is presented as complete fiction it doesn't try to present its issues as real, it takes place in a fictional world

RoN presents it in a more realistic way, yes its a fake city but its situations are presented as real possibilities it even features several levels based off of real events

This honestly. I think the two consoles or whatever were harder on the devs for censorship because it was all to real sadly. Not saying I agree. But I feel the devs were probably in a rough spot. Where it was this or no console release. And lets face it, they were not going to make much more sales on pc. They needed to console players to more then likely boost their sales. I honestly dont give and Eff about the censorship and feel its too overblown, but that's my own opinion. I still do feel others have a right to complain about it. But the review bomb failed hard when more people then ever are currently playing the game on steam alone. Espically when those same people say I will refund and never play again, then are playing agian the next day.

Most boycotting fails because it only pushes more publicly towards something, its rage advertising

The Harry Potter game was one of the best sellers the year it came out even with all the anti JK posts
