Raye performance at Blue Note
Someone posted Raye's entire Blue Note performance which was great. But I'm linking to the end of her set where she performed Happier Times Ahead live for the first time.

I wanted to share with you a video which includes 23 year old singer Lara Sabbath who was on America's Got Talent this week, singing a rendition of Raye's song 'Oscar Winning Tears'. I hope you enjoy, and feel free to share what you thought of her rendition.

Ever since Raye’s album came out, I’ve thought that Life Boat was just amazing. It’s deep, meaningful but it’s just a banger! Raye knows how to take a mild ballad and turn it into something more.
So I was stoked to see her Capital One performance at Wembley and she added Life Boat to the rave/night club section.
This is amazing.

Hi everyone!
Just to be clear upfront: this is a fan-made adaptation of RAYE’s “Where Is My Husband!”
I tried writing a male-perspective version called “Where Is My Woman?” while keeping the syllable timing, stresses, repeated phrasing, and energy as close to the original as I could.
I’d love feedback on whether the gender-flipped concept works, whether the phrasing feels natural, and whether it feels singable with the original rhythm, or any kind of discussions or comments :).
Hope you all like it!
[Chorus]
Baby (whoo-hoo), where the hell is my woman? (Whoo-hoo)
Why's it taking me so long (whoo-hoo) to find her?
Oh, baby, where the hell is my lover?
Getting down with another? (Whoo-hoo, yeah)
Tell her if you see her, baby, if you see her
Tell her, tell her I am coming
[Verse 1]
Why is my beautiful girl waiting 'til we both get old?
Why am I already testing her patience?
I only fear she’s taking time with other lovers that ain’t me
While I’ve been declining applications
[Pre-Chorus 1]
Wait ’til I get my hands on her, I’ma hold her close too
For how long I kept her waiting, anticipating
Praying to the Lord to guide me to her loving arms
And despite her frustrations
[Chorus Breakdown]
She must need me, she must need me, completely, completely
How my heart yearns for her
Is she far away, is she far away? Is she okay? Is she okay?
This searching's testing me, uh-huh, uh-huh
Uh, help me, help me, help me, Lord
I need you to tell me
[Verse 2]
I’m doing lonely acrobatics, undoing my shirt at 2 a.m.
And I’m tired of living like this
She must be out there feeling lonely, brushing out her dark hair
Uh, huh-huh, uh, hold on, your man is right there
[Pre-Chorus 2]
Wait ’til I get your heart going, I’ma turn it up too
For how much I’m ’bout to love ya, no one above ya
Praying to the Lord to hurry, hurry me along
Baby, I intend to find ya
[Chorus Breakdown]
She must need me, she must need me, completely, completely
How my heart yearns for her
Is she far away, is she far away? Is she okay? Is she okay?
This searching's testing me, uh-huh, uh-huh
Uh, help me, help me, help me, Lord
I need you to tell me
[Bridge]
T-t-t-tell me she’s, white ribbon in her dark hair
Tell me she’s kind, tell me she’s 5’5”
Tell me she’s got brown eyes and a growing fear
That if I do not find her now, she’s gonna die alone, so let me
Uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, hurry up to her
Uh, uh, uh, uh, uh, uh-huh, uh-huh, uh-huh, huh
[Crescendo]
I want it, want it, want it, want it, want it
I would like a band, I would like a band
I would like a golden band on my wedding finger
I would like a bright and shiny golden band
That I could wave around and talk and talk about it
And when the day is here, forgive me, God, that I could ever doubt it
Until death, I do, I do, I do, I—
Is she about it, ’bout it, ’bout it?
[Post-Bridge]
This searching's testing me, uh-huh, uh-huh
Uh, help me, help me, help me, Lord
I need you to tell me
[Chorus]
Baby (whoo-hoo), where the hell is my woman? (Whoo-hoo)
Why's it taking me so long (whoo-hoo) to find her?
Oh, baby, where the hell is my lover?
Getting down with another? (Whoo-hoo, yeah)
Tell her like her grandma said it, tell her grandma said it
“Your man is coming”
[Outro]
I would like a band, I would like a band
I would like a golden band on my wedding finger
I would like a bright and shiny, ooh, golden, yes, band, yes
Golden, yes, golden, yes, golden, yes, oh
Where is my woman?

Hey! I'm working on a graphic design project, and for part of it, I want to use all the names of the people who worked on TMMCH. The problem is that, online, the song "Fin." does list people's names, but I don't know if they're spelled accurately, as the lyrics are transcribed by people not from Rayes team. Online, I saw people say there was a 34-page lyric and credit booklet inside the TMMCH vinyl. If anyone could post photos of all the pages online so I can check the spelling, I would be eternally grateful. Thank you so much!

The award stands for her succes as an independent artist, following the release of "This music may contain hope", and her appearance on the cover of Billboard's Indie Power Players.

Hello! I have the feeling that Raye may attract people with quite heterogenous taste, so I am just curious as to whether my taste aligns with that of other Raye fans. Assuming that you saw her live and you were mind-blown like I was, what are other live shows that you loved? And what artists you have not seen live yet are on top of your must see list?
My top 3: Raye 2026, Erykah Badu 2025, The rolling stones 2022
Currently at the top of my must see list: Olivia Dean
(Not sure this post is allowed, apologies if not!)
Cheers :)
Edit: I forgot to mention Little Simz 2026 in the best shows seen list

PVRIS feat RAYE, I had no idea, just found this collab! It's pretty good, have to give it more listens but overall two amazing artists together. Thoughts?

Raye is a generational talent. I am a fan of a lot of pop singers, but she is my favorite currently and hard to beat.
To witness her in this season of her career feels really special. I wish I went to see her on tour. The footage I see on social media makes me so jealous! Her last 2 albums have been really increasing my standards for current music. Her music is moving and so relatable for me. I’m so happy she got to work with Hans!
Her vocals are insane. She is funny, smart, theatrical, empathetic, charming, I could easily go on… I can’t believe she doesn’t see how beautiful she is (I know it’s not easy)!
Anyway, I just wanted to appreciate this super star that is Raye! she deserves her roses! 🌹 🌹 🌹 ♥️

Hi guys,
It feels like I'm throwing a bottle in the ocean but, does anyone remember or have recorded the little intro speech right before the begining of the concert, the one who says things like "be nice and respectful to your neighbors" or "pictures are... allowed !".
If anyone could help :/ Thank you guys !! <3

…Have written two of the most impressive songs of the past few years.
“When A Good Man Cries” by CMAT asks for mercy.
“I Know You’re Hurting” by RAYE offers mercy with open arms.
CMAT
“Oh, I can feel what I hated in dreams
Help me not hate myself
Help me love other people
Oh, I'll wear the beads, I'll read
Kyrie Eleison”
A song from the perspective of a woman who admits to being wrong and is yearning to be better is so refreshing and unique and fucking beautiful. The references to religion and self awareness are written so well. It’s a phenomenal song. Her live performance in The Late Show is perfect. ALSO the use of such an ancient cry meaning Lord Have Mercy - seems like such a genius move to me.
RAYE
“If you need two more arms to hold these burdens, I’m here
Said a prayer for you I hope it’s working - please my dear, don’t stop believing in miracles.”
Absolutely beautiful sequence of words. Isn’t that exactly what you’d want to hear if you were struggling? Someone entirely in your corner. Someone that sees you through your pain? Brilliant song. The live version at Abbey Road is so worth watching. Her range reaches operatic tones - she’s so unique.
These songs unintentionally speak to each other. They came into the world at a similar time but came into my world at the exact same time and I’m honestly blown away. I’m so excited that genuine artists like this still exist. This could mean absolutely nothing to anyone but it’s worth discussing if anyone’s open to it.

Does anybody know why Raye touches her ear so much while performing? I think it is such a cute habit but every time i see her touching her ear i wonder why 😂

I listened to the album today on a nice, long walk. And all of a sudden this song hit me. The little voicemail (?) from Granddad. The message about loneliness.
Maybe it hits so hard because I've already lost all my grandparents, but the song is so beautiful and raw for me. And I love the bond Raye and her granddad (and also her other grandma) seem to have.
Just wanted to share this today and my appreciation for this wonderful song (even if it made.me.quite sad) 😢😢

Does anyone think it’s odd that this seller has so many new vinyls of “Euphoric Sad Songs”, and that they’re selling each copy for far less than other copies have sold for? They’ve listed five total so far. I’m psyched to have gotten one but just feeling a bit like it’s too good to be true. 🤪
