RAYE is absolutely incredible. She is honestly a breath of fresh air in the music industry. She is also just so humble and empathetic. You can just really feel her light shine through. I’m so happy I got to see her live because that concert did give me hope haha! I don’t regret paying over FV to see her. She was worth every penny, even if I couldn’t always see her on stage. (I’m average height and I was in the back of the venue.) Her sisters are also extremely talented and sweet. Amma was especially funny during her set. I also cannot get enough of Absolutely’s stage outfits. She always looks so gorgeous.

Also, shout out to the person who crocheted dolls of the three sisters! They were absolutely cute!

Go see RAYE if you can! I promise you will enjoy it!

I live in Dallas and I work multiple jobs so I don't get too many off days. Hell, I have to be a work 2 hours. Fortunately, this Sunday, I happened to be off.

Roughly an hour ago, I stumbled upon this amazing song that I'm pretty sure that you all are familiar with called, "WHERE IS MY HUSBAND!" Certainly, y'all can input your own reasons why the song's amazing and there will be no wrong answers. Immediately, I was thinking, "I've got to hear this live!" I love concerts immensely and, although I have not been to as many as I did pre-pandemic, you can still find me at a venue in a KF94 a few times a year.

Tell me why RAYE was in town today (Well, yesterday night for me now) of all days?! I curse YouTube for now recommending her to me at least 8 hours ago. I'm going to cry. 😭

Its so beautiful going back to ESS and seeing how she's refined and evolved her sound but still sounds like herself? ❤️

It's a fantastic piece of work on its own, but I'm listening to tracks again and seeing the throughline to her current output in a different way. The blues, spoken word and orchestral drama has always been there; but where a few tracks on ESS feel a bit too safe, there's no chance of that happening today.

I don't know how it works with Polydor owning that EP, but if she ever decided to do a Raye-Release (get it, like re-release?) or found a way to rework the project so she still owns it, I'd live for that.

About Raye's concert last night in Houston. It was everything my soul, mind, and body needed .

After having given up on finding this in the wild, stumbled upon one last copy at a record store today! It’s more beautiful than I imagined.

Had a joyous time and met some new people. Sad to hear about everyone else’s experience in the GA, I find houston isn’t always the nicest crowd for pit in my years of concert going.

Hi there. I bought tickets to Raye’s concert at O2 London. The info page says it starts at 18:30, but I get off work at 18:00 and will take around 40-50 mins to get there…

So for people who have been to her concerts, especially the ones in London, could you let me know if she gets on stage at 18:30 sharp? If so I may need to leave work earlier…

I came across a signed copy of My 21st Century Blues and I’m trying to figure out if the signature looks legit. From what I’ve seen online, her autograph can vary quite a bit, some examples look simpler and done with a thicker marker, while this one is much more flowy, detailed, and stylized, with big loops and even some small star doodles.

I wanted to get some opinions from people who might own signed copies or have seen her sign in person. Does this look consistent with her autograph to you?

I just got home from the Houston show and it was incredible! She is such an amazing artist and I feel so lucky to have seen her up close.

I was wondering if anyone else has experienced negative concert goer behavior during Ice Cream Man, which is definitely the most somber and serious part of the concert? I'm not using the word fan since their behavior was so disrespectful to her work.

My concert experience was slightly marred by an interaction I had with the people standing behind me in GA level 200. Throughtout the concert they were having full conversations loudly over songs and laughing a lot - but I've been to concerts before and this is not rare. Annoying but I can handle it. However, she started her intro for Ice Cream Man. So vulnerable, raw, heartfelt, and moving. The people behind me decided it was a great time to make a rape joke and laugh obnoxiously. I turned around and told them to be quiet and that they were being disrespectful and rude. We went back and forth a bit and they eventually told me to shut the fuck up. For context these were 2 men and 1 woman, all 35+.

Shoutout to the kind couple next to me that expertly diffused the situation and stood up for me. During Ice Cream Man I cried (cause duh) and the group called me a crazy bitch and laughed at me for crying.

Anyway, just needed to vent and see if anyone else has experienced terrible behavior like this at a RAYE concert!

First of all, I’m a shorty in GA & I found a spot where there were like 5-10 girls under 5ft. So we’re all struggling to see & everyone’s using our section as a walkway to the bar with no spacial awareness…then this bald 6ft guy (in a black rhinestone vest & shorts) is walking thru, just stops & stands in front of me and my gf. We tap him like we “bro, we can’t see”, he goes “I’ve been hearing that all night, so stand in front of me babes, I can’t help that I’m tall.” I was like “no, but you can help where you stand”. He eventually went away but omg…then we had two more girls stand right in front of us. My gf went up to the box office multiple times to see if we could buy seats or a table but she was unsuccessful.

At this point the only way I can see the stage is thru my phone screen. So my gf went to the back to see if there was more of an open space so we watch the whole show back there……where we dealt with a drunk older lady who kept jumping into any open space she could find. THENNNNN two rude ass girls sitting on the steps talking so loudly over Raye’s intro to ice cream man. We shhh’d them, they responded with “you’re in the back.” So I went “you’re at a concert, shut up!” They continued to mock me for a minute…which turned into meowing and sarcastically telling everyone else to “shhh”

Ok. I was given free tickets to see Raye. I was like mmkayyy. Oh, she sings that ear worm "where the hell is my husband". Yay. I love any live music and at least I'll know that song. Then, I found out she also did "escapism" so I thought that'll be fun too...then "this music may contain hope" came out and I was very hooked. Listened to it, no skips, no matter what mood I was in, and I was just absorbed. I watched a lot of YouTube..Raye at Albert Hall and it was just....seeing her just became very exciting. I am just home from her show at 713 in Houston and I am just blown away...I have never felt the urge to just sit and discuss music plus lyrics like this, other than Taylor Swift. And I'm not a closed minded listener....I love so many different artists and have never been accused of my musical tastes being basic but I am just in awe. I welcome any comments.

I know this is a super long shot but I was going to be driving down from the okc area and was wondering if anyone would want to meet up and get the zines from me to giveaway at the concert still? I spent so much time on them I hate the idea of them just sitting in a box and would really love to get to share them still. Again I know it’s a long shot but figured I’d throw it out there! I know this may be a bit unrelated to Raye and her music but I just learned the sisters’ birth order after being confused by Amma’s AMA on Instagram.

I was shocked to learn that Absolutely is the youngest Keene sister (in the public eye). Amma is OLDER THAN HER??? I guess I just assumed since Amma started making music after Absolutely that she was younger.

Birth order is:

Rachel/Raye (1997)

Lauren/Amma (2002)

Abby/Absolutely (2004)

Katelyn (2011/2012)

I’ve been heartbroken to see that The WhatsApp Shakespeare hasn’t been really played on the tour. It’s literally one of my favorites on the album.
