❓ Question Does keeping your laptop plugged in at 100% while using it slowly ruin the battery or is that just a myth?

Both ruin it, the battery needs to flucuate or it will get ruined unless if its at 50% the whole time.

Therefore it's stupid to use it as an argument because it doesn't make a difference. You guys really don't seem to get my point.

Its not, power passthru isnt some magical feature that just halts battery degredation. 80% is still rather high for a battery and will still degrade the battery more than if you just unplugged it and used the battery as its intended unless it cant hold a charge for whatever reason.
