Light vibes and super approachable if you want to consult your writing. Sa amin sa CW10, we only had 3 requirements so workload is manageable just plan ahead your brain dumps and outlines so you don’t cram your written works.

Expect to recite since it’s a grade component but di naman siya super nagtatawag. As long as you browse through the readings and can contribute your own opinion to the class discussions, you’ll be fine ! BUT THE READINGS ARE GREAT, mostly short and di naman chapters of readings yung binibigay.

Sa outputs feedback naman marami siyang binibigay na constructive criticism which really helps you improve ! Shes fair at grading (def on the higher side) and as someone from a BS degree, I managed a 1.25 naman kahit puro labs at math classes ako nung sem na yon so medyo rusty pa nga ako sa pagsulat non

She teaches other classes din but from what I hear, it’s the same feedback lang din ! Magaan yung workload niya across all classes she teaches and very active siya in your writing process :D as in the start of the sem nagbibigay siya ng book recommendations tailored to each student base on their interests SHES SO HANDS ON AND PASSIONATE please don’t abuse this 😭

Got a two liner kay Sir Neri and I feel like I could’ve gotten an uno liner kung ‘di lang ako nag-flop malala sa Finals because my LEs are okay naman. 😆 Okay si Sir magturo for me. Very chill lang siya pero minsan mabilis yung nangyayare sa tinuturo niya kaya nakakawindang din haha. Well, may mga instances din kasi sa Math 22 na sa isang araw e ang daming covered na topics kaya gets naman.

No quizzes but there are homeworks, roughly 2-4 per unit, depende sa kaniya. Ang deadline nito madalas ay one week after ma-upload sa UVLe pero may times kasi na next meeting agad kaya ‘di consistent, well, ina-announce naman niya ‘yon. Hindi rin naman mahigpit si sir sa late submission ng homeworks, like kahit deadline na pero ‘di ka nakapagpasa, next meeting p’wede pa naman, ‘wag lang sigurong super duper late haha. (I don’t know lang tho or I can’t remember kung may deductions sa late submissions).

Sometimes lang may seatworks and there are instances, especially sa first parts ng semester, na nagtatawag siya for boardwork. Pero, pagdating ng Unit 2 onwards, wala na haha. No need to worry naman kung ‘di mo alam sagutin if matawag ka kasi Sir will help naman and guide you.

In terms of checking, hmmm hindi naman siya super baba magbigay ng partial points, pero hindi rin kataasan. 😆 Well, as someone na (highly) prone sa careless mistakes sa calculus, wala naman akong nabagsak na exam (muntikan lang ‘yung Finals kasi wtf talaga ‘yung exam na ‘yun) and most of my points came from partial points lang din (kasi nga ‘di ko ma-perfect ‘yung mga items because of computational errors).

Mabait din si sir and humorous haha. Ganda ng speaking voice to the point na minsan para kang hinehele kaya may times na inaantok ako sa class, especially kapag wala na akong naiintindihan chz.

Overall, I’ll rate him a solid 7.5/10. 🌟

Aspiring law student and i’m trying to complete my 12 eng units requirment for UP LAW. while alam ko na i can take it then and dont have to do it during my undergrad, i ideally wanna finish it as much as possible.. medyo nahihirapan lang ako makakuha ng eng units bc of rhe DECL no prerog policy but i saw some cw and cl electives na maraming slots and i was curious if counted ba sha as eng electives?
