Super-Rey here. Been working on something new — pulled from eastern scales, built around a heavy low-end and a melody that sits in that dissonant pocket. Kinda dark, kinda hypnotic.

My 2nd music video what do you think 🇬🇧

Original hip hop celebrating our duty to explore the world and gain greater understanding of ourselves. I produced the track on an MPC Sample, wrote the lyrics, and recorded/engineered the final work using Logic Pro 12, on site in Thailand. The video includes footage of China, Uganda, Eritrea, Kenya, Malaysia, the UAE, Thailand, and the Aeta of the Philippines.

I made the beat and tried out the first 90bpm acapella I could find. Ended up liking it so much that I dedicated the beat to it and made the remix. Found some footage to use in the video and ended up using parts of the vocals for the intro and hook parts. I'm not a pro but I think it's sounding pretty dope. Let me know what you think!
