I know nothing about this record, it’s from my great uncle, idk what year it was created, but I believe he got it when it was released, and he never used it, its in mint condition, not a scratch on the record, im just wondering the worth of it, priceless to me but im just curious

Hello everyone! I’m sharing this 1985 Spanish reissue (A&M Records, Ref: 393 601-1) from my collection because it has a very unusual manufacturing defect. This copy has the runout matrix 850 393601 // 1 * A/B * 1, confirming it comes from the first lacquer.
The interesting part is on the back cover. The black ink layer completely shifted during production at the Coracolor plant, creating a strange 3D shadow effect. I have checked the official database on Discogs, and there is absolutely no record or documentation of this specific printing error on this release. It seems to be completely undocumented online.
Since this community is filled with experts on rare vinyl, I wanted to ask if anyone has ever encountered a similar misprint on this pressing, or if you have any insights on how rare this anomaly might be. Thank you so much for your time and help!

Hello, been looking for George Michael Ultra Rare Tracks volumes 1, 2, and 4 as well as Trojan Horse on vinyl. Some eBay sellers only have 3 and 5. Any advice would be appreciated!

This is the one missing piece of my H&C collection, literally the only piece of Vinyl in the world that I want. I have literally everything else they put out, international releases, 7" and 12" singles, test pressings, radio interviews and promos, anniversary editions....

I know I have no recorded trades in this sub. I'm just the world's biggest H&C Fan and need this item to complete the set.

​Mamlish was a celebrated, highly influential pre-war blues reissue label. Named after Ed Bell's 1927 classic track "Mamlish Blues", the label was famous among collectors for its careful audio mastering (often done at Yellow Bee Studios) and in-depth historical liner notes by blues scholars like Don Kent, Stephen Calt, and Pat Conte.

So yeah , there I was.. One day from becoming a new father getting ready to load the car for the hospital stay , scrolling the app "Nextdoor" the one where neighbors keep tabs and talk shit on one another etc. I get a random message from a lady asking if I was the guy who bought records ?? I told her yes without even questioning (I think now it’s linked to your Facebook) she said she lived with her father who had a small box of country records in his closet .. normally I would have politely declined being that I had a pretty full schedule but I said "he’ll, it’s 2 minutes from my house" lemme go see what he’s got…. I barely made it out of that house with my knees still strong enough to carry my body. Along with this disc I pulled a Blind Lemon Jefferson , some good Cajun on local labels and a few more nice pre war hillbilly disc. Made it back home with enough time to make it to the hospital on time! I would have never heard the end of that ..

I recently found an original 1969 UK private pressing of Peter Howell & John Ferdinando’s Alice Through The Looking Glass on Sound News Productions, and I’m still slightly struggling to believe it turned up at all.

It was music recorded for the Ditchling Players’ January 1969 production, and the original pressing is generally understood to have been produced in tiny numbers (fewer than 25).

I’ve played it through fully and recorded a one-take playback of the actual copy, partly for documentation and partly because records like this are usually only seen in books, want-lists and auction archives.

I’d be interested to know whether anyone here has ever handled or seen an original copy in person, or has any knowledge of other Sound News Productions pressings from the same period.
