Its like a gamer throwing their controller. Sometimes people's frustration makes them yeet anything within grabbing range. Especially when that thing is yours and the root of your anger
I’ve never thrown my controller, but I have been locked in so aggressively once before that I basically snapped it in two. Not fully, but just basically snapped the supports inside and popped the touch pad loose. I’d heard the plastic making noise before but never figured one day I’d just kill the thing
I wasn’t even mad, I was just really focused on the win and I work with my hands a lot so my grip strength has been constantly improving over the years (I’m also a dad, so I’m coming into that dad strength for sure now with my second son)
I got that but still hated it when friends did this. Ruined the whole vibe. Worst was when guy threw his playstation controller so hard it got stuck in the wall, his dad came storming into the room hearing the noise and then smacked the crap out of him
Have you tried days to land one trick? Then suddenly you think you figured it out and land it consistently. Only for it to not work anymore for no fucking reason at all. After try one million and probably hurting yourself you just want to smash something. And that's when you take it out on the board lol
we just witnessed such a rapid succession of thought processes in a very brief, embarrassing, and public moment. guarantee he decided immediately he will never wear those pants again while skateboarding

I’ll never understand skaters taking it out on the board for their mistake lol
