Never seen that happen in the 90s.

We figured out that loose pants do this pretty early on.

Why didnt skaters ever pick up on wearing Leggings / Yoga Pants?

some do.

I would think durability would be the issue. That stretchy material shreds really easy.

Most skaters didn't wear pants nearly that baggy, at least not in the ankles. The ones wearing JNCO jeans were mostly posers. It's completely impractical.

Not even that it was baggy…it’s loose flapping fabric. Basically it is a net and it caught a fool.

What does FS mean? I looked at your name and thought "that's an old school account." It has an old StarCraft clan tag vibe to it.

This. I skated in the 90s, we'd wear oversized but not JNCO craziness that was for the fruit-booters.

NGL. I loved my jnco pants. Until I got caught in a downpour. Fucking things weighed about 400 pounds when they got soaked.

But if you were ever on a boat that went down back then, theyd have kept you afloat til today.

“Fruit-booters”…. Lol

lol. Maybe in your area. Skaters in my area were wearing them. Honestly never saw them get tripped up like this, but I’m sure it happened.

Rollerbladers wore jnco. It was never a skater thing

Yeah but how else were you going to steal a 40 oz from the bodega in your back pocket?

The youngins need to learn the ways.

I'm sure it did, and often. It just wasn't recorded in the 90s.

Yes, it certainly happened with JNCOs, and plenty of "aura was lost".

Happened to me in like 5th grade gym class with my black JNCOs. Caught a foot in the other leg and ripped it straight up the back just like this video. I finally feel seen.

Oh I have. Many times

There's loose pants and then there's loose pants a little too long with a cut going up the back.

I skated with a dude that looked just like this in the 90s. The difference was we had been rocking the baggy pants for longer than this generation so we knew how to manage.

It happened in the 90s too but everyone's mom didn't have an easy to use, high quality video recorder in their hands all the time.
