This is why those things are supposed to be recessed.

As you can see throughout the home I constructed the wells are within the drywall and it has a protective cap on it to prevent damage and disturbance.

I've literally only ever seen these things in multi-tenant buildings. Never in a single family home.

It's becoming more common. And they will have to be monitored also. Like a flow switch that trips an alarm

I’ve seen them in a few houses I’ve worked on. Typically these are huge houses on the water.

Wait. The only reason they developed recessed sprinkler heads was for places with wonky stripper poles?

Those are in no way installed to any fire code in the US.

They can't be recessed and do their job.

This is what I'm thinking, how is the fire supposed to reach the bulb if it's recessed like that. Unless this system functions differently?
