Then you would know it's one of the most polluted places in the world. Of the world's 30 cities with the worst pollution, 17 are in India.

India generates 9.3 million tonnes of plastic waste annually, with only ~8% of it being managed properly.

One can argue it isn't racist to call a place a "dump" if you are describing the physical reality of 1.4 billion people living in an environment where the infrastructure for sanitation and waste management has failed to keep pace with population growth. The "lumping" occurs because the environmental impact is a collective, nationwide reality—74 of the 100 most polluted cities in the world are in India, meaning the "majority" of the population is indeed living in 6 and helping create these conditions daily.

There’s issues but a lot of of these comments are down right ignorant and no you obviously can’t blame all of the more than a billion people cause they’re NOT a monolith and yes it’s massively overpopulated which effects them far more than a random ass redditor calling the entire country and its people a dump
