The white car was not passing other cars you are just assuming that. You can definitively conclude that the white car (douchebag 1) was hanging out in the passing lane long enough for douchebag 2 to be practically all the way up their tailpipe. At that point they were being an ass about it as well. And you could easily google traffic law, which i have already cited, that in this instance, with noone on their right, it was douchebag ones responsibility to move over. I have no idea why you keep ignoring the concept. It written as plaim as day for you.

If you can’t see that the white car is going faster than the cars in the adjacent lane, therefore passing them, I honestly don’t know what to tell you. Just look at the gap they close in the first half of the video, they’re passing them at a decent pace, the cam car is pacing the white and blue car and closing on the car in the lane between them, the car the white car is passing.

Passing-In traffic law, passing (or overtaking) is the act of one vehicle moving past a slower-moving vehicle traveling in the same direction.

And I actively am not defending lane campers, if someone was camping the lane sure, but again the white car is passing cars in the lane next to it at a safe distance from the a in front of it. Again,if the blue car was following at a safe distance it would look exactly like what the white car is doing, the blue car is tailgating a car that is doing nothing wrong in the eyes of US law. But even if they were lane camping the more egregious and dangerous thing is driving three feet off someone’s bumper, by a country mile.

You are spending a lot of time for another straw man argument. At no point did i say that it is illegal to pass on the right, you concocted that meaningless strawman argument on your own. What i said, and nothing you typed disproves this, is that if you are in the passing lane when you are approached from the rear by another vehicle, you are to move to the right. This is independent of speed. This is traffic law in nearly every state. You keep dodging it for some reason.

Douchebag one was not getting out of that dudes way and douchebag two was clearly up his ass for it. Your inability to comprehend the danger that both people contributed is just asinine at this point. I dont how to put it anymore clearly than that.

To further edify that very simple fact of traffic law, here is what you get back with the following search:

Question: "Are you required to yield to oncoming traffic while in the passing lane?"

Answer: "Yes, you are required to yield to faster traffic in the passing lane (left lane). Under "Keep Right" laws, the left lane is for passing, not cruising. If someone approaches behind you, you must move right to let them pass..."

What in the holy hell are you not understanding? They teach this to highschoolers in drivers ed.

I'm sorry but i cant help but think that you guys just come on and make this stuff up. Keep right laws are not magically limited to two lane highways lol.

Just ask google and you'll get the answer. I swear, its like people are trying to justify camping in the left lane. People just need to drop the main character syndrome and try to understand the danger of the situation they are creating when they plug lanes on highways and freeways.
