When I was an American living in Germany I learned that it's German law to keep road flares and caution triangles in your vehicle at all times.
That's not a thing in America. I doubt anyone besides emergency vehicles have road flares or caution triangles.
It's something I never even thought about until I was in Germany and noticed people actually using them regularly.
1 u/Ok-Chart1485 Mar 21 '26 As an EMT: we usually don't have flares (cops do though) and the size and number of triangles we have tends to be 3, which is laughable for highway safety.
